Be right back, going to check out the VIN and rego sticker on my neighbours car.

    • hehe are you sure you can open the bonnet of their car. they may think someone is trying to steal it!

Because 'no officer, not theft. I only want to go skiing' will go down sooo well.

I thought the VIN is printed on the rego sticker and/or on the inside panel at the bottom corner of the windscreen…

  • Believe it or not but you actually need to own a Subaru for this to work….

Used a friends and few weeks later received a call from Subaru asking me about my car and details

    • Yes, Subaru will match the car owner name and VIN. I registered it with my name but my car is under my wife's name. Subaru rang me and asked for details. Finally, I have to put my wife's name on instead.

  • How long is this valid for??

    • +2

i believe it is for one year or one ski season (2012 ski season)

    • 1 for Subi drivers
  • Ewwwwwww Subarpoooooo.

  • Just signed up will let you know what it entails when I get the email.

    • They will ring you for confirmation as I experienced.

    • please tell us what they ask!

      • No problems, still waiting for my call. I am the legit owner of a Subaru so shouldn't be too much drama I would imagine.

  • This is a very rare find! I've never seen Subaru Australia offer any freebies. This is the first. I've owned a Subaru for more than 5 years and been mailed their member/advertising literature for 3 years and never seen any free promotion. Thank you OP.

  • I believe you can got to vicroads and do a free vehicle check (get the Subi number plate off car sales) and you will get the vin…

  • I wonder when exactly the card is valid till? Terms & conditions says "expires end of Winter season", thought we're in Spring now?

  • I wouldn't bother unless you are planning on going before October 3 2011. I just got the following email form them:
