Cheaper at Woolworths @ $14 for 36 rolls, and will be in stock quicker than this backorder.

Also; Woolworths just delivered one on my grocery order for $6.50 as the 6pack of Icare was out of stock! Win!

    • What you ordered is out of stock and still you win!

      • +2

I was down to my last roll so needed something, so I ordered 4x different ones. 1x 6pack was fulfilled, 2x were out of stock and refunded, and 1x was replaced by the 36 pack ;)

        • So how much did you end up paying for the 36 pack?

          • +1

@videoman: $6.50 (the 6pack icare was out of stock, and replaced with a 36 pack at the same cost), bargain! :D

  • +2

Not a deal - their "regular" price.

  • My subscribe and save of $17.49 is due for delivery for 24 April
And I have the option to move to March but I think i better be mindful for the needs of other fellow bums to just wait till April .

    • +2

You do realise they charge you whatever the current price is and not the price you paid before?

      • +1

No way I could sign up for them subscribe offers…. I buy what I want, when I want and need it.

      • +1

I thought the price was locked in.

        And doesn't the subscribe and save get you a further 10% off on the $17.50 making it like $17.49 - $1.75 = $15.74 ?

Mine is due later in the year as I'm still going through my previous order.

Yeah my subscribe and save gives me 10% off but doesn't state the price so will have to monitor it and see if it locks in the price.

      • +1

Wow … that really made Me stand up from seating on my toilet seat . I would monitor that in April with my phone while wiping . Cheers

Tell us where you can get better deal right now if you all think it's a bad deal

    • +7

But you can't get this 'right now'.

      • Normally should get them before their estimates. You can always cancel if you can find better price for that amount somewhere else.

      • I'll be getting 2x 45 TP by next week! Absolutely worth it. haha

    • +2

Tell us why you think it's good to get an item such as toilet paper on back order

      • Not everyone live near supermarkets.. Some live remotely and this saves people from going to their only local supermarket to find out they're all OOS.

  • +2

Five weeks wait and this isn’t even a good price. No.

  • -4

The truck convoy that mean to take the toilet paper to us have roll over and dumb it's load, all toilet paper going up in flames. The firefighters have try frantically to save the precious shipment have successfully save half of it from burning up. Unfortunately the half that is save is all wet.

I have to take a bow to our heroes who ve just battle the devastating bush fire now have to deal with the toilet paper inferno

    • more Rupert waste product

  • +2

    Popcorn

  • Ordered! Dont know when it'll be 17.50 again or if the backorder would get worse later on. We're running low already and none in any stores.

  • +2

Not a deal. I paid $17.49 recently for 45 rolls of 3 ply sheet.

    • Same brand?

  • I don't get it, what's the connection between Coronavirus and toilet tissue really?

And why is it always the toilet paper, not only the Covid19, but a couple of time previously what's the logic behind this?

    • alchemists can easily convert toilet paper to a vaccine! duh

    • If lockdowns or self-isoloation is implemented people won't be able to leave their homes or go to public places easily. So, essentials like canned goods and toilet paper are things that you'll need if you can't leave your home.

      • we're nowhere close to that stage.

Even Wuhan which have it much worse than us and actually are in lockdown, don't have this problem.

        People are just being stupid.

    • Apparently because TP is so bulky supermarkets don't hold much stock, making them susceptible to this kind of thing.

For most things if a bunch of people buy 5 times the normal amount they just go get some from out the back to replenish, for TP they don't have any until the next day. So anyone who's going in the evening and maybe afternoon is having trouble.

  • +2

It was ridiculous to stock toilet paper at the beginning. Considering this as a deal is more ridiculous.

  • scalpers already flooding ebay. can't believe so many people are this misinformed.

    • i don't think people are going to buy scalped toilet paper. Shipping that stuff won't be cheap due to size.

    • Some of this has to be jokes. No one is going to pay a thousand dollars when you can just jump in the shower or use hand towels/tissues.

      • You underestimate the current state of society.

Keep your common sense and sanity it is good for you many other people don't have it atm.

  • +2

    Act like a person

  • Went to aldi today, few people had trollies of toilet paper only. One guy had like 6 packs of 20+ rolls.

The canned food or long lasting food was all stocked…. a few items had 10 or so left… but toilet rolls, facial tissues and paper towels were all gone…

The rep said the last pallet of all paper goods went out 30 minutes ago and everyone just waited and baited it.

  • Calm down peoples.

  • +3

I ordered this today expecting to get it much later but got an email from Amazon telling me that I'll get the tp by next Monday.

    Not bad, would buy again.

    • Same here. Added it to the description.

  • Soon Mac Donalds and HJs will employ security guards to check people's bags at the door to make sure customers do not shoplift their napkins and toilet paper…

  • -1

i'm going overseas this month. Will be staying at a number of different hotels. I think I'm going to take any remaining unused roll from the hotels. I wouldn't normally do that but this is a shit situation.

  • +1

Not in stock and not a good price.

    • That's why it says out of stock…

      • +1

Yes, that strengthened my resolve to vote it down, but to strictly stick with the voting guidelines the bad price was the main reason. This deal is a lot better at 33 cents per roll, compared to 44 cents here.

        • +1

You give negative votes for posts that have gone out of stock? You must have to vote on every post then.
Also that is only a deal for WA.

          • +2

@Gehirn: Read again. It's not a good price. Never was, never will be.

            • +1

@team teri: Okay I'll read again.
"That's why it says out of stock" "Yes, that strengthened my resolve to vote it down".
Hmm yes that does seem to mention it being a factor.

            • @team teri: It's a great price at this present climate and mines getting delivered next week! No need to go round shops looking for any

  • +2

Not a deal. Feeding into the panic buying and general stupidity.
    Not a bargain price.

    • well Coles are cashing in/profiteering - no rainchecks on advertised products including toilet roll - they don't have any stock so when they do they want full price.

ps See that Coles promise instore - 'we will give you a raincheck if we don't have stock of an advertised product'?

Should read 'COLES promise's to gip you over a raincheck on an advertised product whenever we can make a lot of money from doing it…

  • +1

I don't get the panic. The latest person that died was 95 and likely would have died from the common flu which Corona isn't much worse than. Worse comes to worse take a dump in the morning before your shower and clean up in there.

  • Just wash your arse in the sink. Problem solved

  • Had to put this out here.

"There's panic in the air cause there's no toilet rolls no more."

  • Order placed last Thursday.
    Delivery received this morning.

    Thank you Amazon AU.

  • There is going to be an oversupply of TPs in a week or so and then the price will go down, down , down. That's when I'll be stocking up. In the meantime ….we're using this

  • Just came up for a minute but couldn't add to cart and no more.

  • It's available again! Jump in guys!

    • It's available again! Jump in guys!

      Normally gone in 1 min.

      • Gone

  • +4

Back in stock as of 10 mins ago (thanks dylo)

    • Sorry for posting as a deal and missing this post :(

  • wiping your ass isn't going to save you from an apocalypse.
I would rather resort to just you know… washing my ass if things get that bad.

  • -1

Mine arrived today. Has been left in “a safe place”
Where is it safe from Daigou?

    • Its not daigou that hoard this…..

  • Can finally double thickness of that wall in my toilet paper fort.

  • -7

    This is not a bargain.

  • eyzonme is that you? Lol

  • no longer available

  • For everyone saying it's not a bargain, it is if people are struggling to find stock at any other price.

    • +1

That does not make it a bargain…

  • -7

I don't need toilet paper for 3 reasons, 1 Westfield toilets provide a free roll for me, as long as I return the roll empty so there's no suspicious activities of theft, and 2 I use the shower to clean my anus, and 3 I just do it anywhere as long as it's dark and no one can see.

Still confused why you all need toilet papper I can see if you have a family.

  • -4

Sorry. Don't see how it's a deal purely based on stock availability.

Considering no free shipping unless you add another item to your bag. The shops are still stocking it and you can still add to part of everyday groceries pick/collect / delivery.

For sure stock will increase with the increased productions. It's getting harder and harder for people to effectively stockpile now.

    • +1

No stock at supermarkets, I had 2 C&C orders at Coles and Woolworths with a range of different toilet paper and none were fulfilled, so due to the law of supply and demand, this should still be a bargain, maybe not previously but definitely now

      • Speaking from personal experience i ordered one yesterday and collected it this morning so I don't know if things have changed and will still be changing this week and beyond for the positive.

        • maybe depends on your location, there is very very limited stock in Sydney

          • -2

            @ln28909: Maybe.

I just feel if you're that desperate for toilet paper you wouldn't be coming here find a 'bargain' just for toilet roll. You'd be already searching online high and wide and making a few calls (maybe a false assumption here). Perhaps this is a bargain for those people buying 'just in case' but either way it does look like supply will be increasing and flowing through (for now anyway). Out of curiosity, where do you draw the line between supply and demand. For example, if noone else had toilet paper and the guy in the van lowered his prices from $1000, to $100, would you then post that as a 'bargain'?

The store rep I spoke to upon pickup said that once they restricted 1 roll and highlighted issues of shortage impact for needy things seem to be getting better and they'll also be getting another load in at lunchtime.

            • -1

@H E B: Several people I know aren't getting click and collect or orders delivered with toilet paper even ordering 1 pack.

              • @Joyoz: If any of those people are still looking / recently run out just a heads up whole pallet of these earlier at Victoria Village.

                https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/526687

Use store check and maybe phone to confirm stock wherever is most convenient…

  • +3

I saw this on Amazon before OP post. Decided to not post it here so the stocks not get ozbargained. I dont know my decision was good or bad but anyway :(

  • +3

Back in Stock again, limit to 1 per account now.

  • I know people are saying this isn't a bargain. But thanks OP! My friend is a teacher and couldn't get to the shops as opening time is the same time required to be at school and had none. I managed to get one and as I don't drive or live close to them I was able to get it posted to them.

  • -1

Absolutely worth it now. Ha for those that were taking the piss.

  • Back in stock, same price.

    Edit: gone.
