Got this in my Mail. Seems like a good deal. - "Simply deposit $1,000+ a month into your Orange Everyday from an external account for two consecutive months before 31 May 2020 and we'll pop $50 cash into your account.

  I totally misread that the first time as being "Deposit $1000 everyday for 2 months and get $50 bonus" I was about to neg the deal :)

  Title could use the word ING somewhere though.

  So OP, I am guessing you were not doing this already, which would be the reason why you got the offer?

  To get a semi decent interest rate on this account, you need to be doing the $1000 deposit anyhow (+ the required card transactions). Also this gives you unlimited fee free ATM usage.

  Interesting fact, once ING tried to deny my bonus interest rate, as they said the $1000 was not my wage being deposited, and from another source. I took them to task, and made sure they honored the bonus interest rate.

    On the contrary, I pay my rent from ING(because I have a joint account setup with ING). So I normally transfer over $1000.00/month easily into my personal account and then forward it to joint.

  Well I received the email and it states
  “Simply have your pay of $1,000+ a month deposited into your Orange Everyday for two consecutive months before 31 May 2020 and we'll pop $50 cash into your account.”

  How do they know this 1000+ amount is coming from my employer as salary ?

  Can I just transfer 1000+ for two consecutive months from my other CommBank Account to ING Orange Everyone account ? Will I still be eligible ?

    hmmm weird.. mine read "Simply deposit $1,000+ a month into your Orange Everyday from an external account for two consecutive months before 31 May 2020 and we'll pop $50 cash into your account".

    But to be fair they do know that it comes from an employer, at least for me it does, since I always get an sms that says "Your pay has been deposited into your account". May be it has something got to do with the 'from' description.
