Probably. Although that will likely prevent you from much future travel. And there's always the alternative - that they incarcerate you there instead!
Will they let you in without a return ticket? Many countries won't.
Well you could get a $1 bus ticket with Mega bus from Seattle to Vancouver. I've used that before as my 'exit' ticket.

They obviously check everything before they let you through. In your scenario, they would send you back home before you even entered.
