After not being able to get any at 15 stores this is the cheapest supply I could find online based on weight and dispatched in 3 to 4 days.
As a general rule right now the available toilet paper online is going for minimum $10-$20 a KG right now making this exceptional value .
It does not beat deals of the past but during the toilet roll apocalypse ( Checked my Coles and Woolies online and 0 available) I believe it is and encourage bettering it .

The weight of this is 8.04 KG making it better value than the 2 ply -400 sheets 5.18 KG that is available for $35 + 12.75 Delivery . After this one sells out the link is here . https://www.amazon.com.au/Livi-Basics-Bathroom-Toilet-Paper/…

Unfortunately there is a price of this toilet paper rolls before and after the hurricane of toilet roll hoarders and those without it THE TIME of locating a local store with it is a major cost .

  • How much toilet paper did everyone store here?

      Zero

I fortunately purchased a pack a day or two before the madness. Every time I’ve been to the supermarket since (way to regularly), there’s been absolutely nothing. I honestly thought it would calm down by now but not yet. Not sure how those who can only shop via online order due to life’s situations will be able to obtain a supply.

    • just the normal 9 roll buffer ….only so much space in inner city living.
work mon-fri so use more toilet paper at work than at home.

refuse to use inferior 2 ply at home, what would visitors think …..

      • I have to buy some for my grandmother, she uses a lot even for constipation!

Still have 2x 36 packs from a SB 50% cashback CW promo a couple of months back. Also have a 48 pack I got from Amazon with my promotional credit for buying a gift card and the stuff-up they made with the Instax film order.

Real ozbargainers have always been prepared for the apocalypse.

I too didn't even need to check my stock levels.

        • Couldn't agree, good to store them for months, they won't go off like bread

    Overpriced!

  • What's the normal price?

  • +7

    Profiteering no deal here!

  • +9

    Not a bargain.
    Feeding into the panic.
    Two ply.

One of my main points is when the rolls are out at all stores nearby its actually a deal unless you wanna drive forever visiting stores.
The Quinton rolls yesterday deal about $2.50 cheaper sold out in minutes and same people that don't understand time management negged it out .
For the community here that can't find it negs help them spotlight where to get some . Especially my $6 KG bargain added .

Ozbargain is a bargains website. Not a public announcement site to inform of stock levels. This is not a bargain. Search toilet paper on eBay and you’ll get plenty of matches, it doesn’t mean they are bargains. Companies are profiteering with this panic and shouldn’t be rewarded.

My second point is constantly reminding people of shortages creates frenzy and leads people to panic buy. It’s idiotic and irrational, and makes vulnerable people such as the elderly the ones that suffer.

Will return to normal shortly now that Colesworth have introduced 1 pack policy - something they should have done from the start.
No deal here. Stop the panic.

  • Coles now has 1 pack per person limit.
Their so-soft brand isn't that badly priced for triple ply. IIRC, I got 24 pack for 8.50
Otherwise Woolies have 2 pack limit per person now.

  • Only in straya. The love for the toilet paper rolls.

    • It's not just Australia

Price increase is not a bargain. Shitty seller (pun intended) feeding off buyer panic.

  • Check out local Asian grocer store, my local grocer has everything but only sells 2 rolls at a time, dunno how much they sell

    'making this exceptional value'

    No, it's not.

For people that actually have real risks to the virus, I absolutely despise the low life people hoarding this.

  • +1

    No Value in this

True ozbargainer will rather use cheapest sandpaper on special than use this overpriced roll of paper

    • That's a bit rough!!

'before and after the hurricane :)'

I don't need to say what everyone else here is thinking about you, it'll just be deleted.

  • +4

With loo paper factories running 24x7 there will be too much stock soon & it'll drive the price down.
Last minute doomsday preppers can only fit so much in their now fire hazarduos houses.

  • +2

    exceptional value

    toilet roll apocalypse

    the hurricane

    Hyperbole

As a general rule right now the available toilet paper online is going for minimum $10-$20 a KG right now

Thought was based on comparing ply and then price per 100 sheets (or more innacurate price p/roll)? The shipping weight you quote includes packaging and shipping materials + weight of product.

I personally never heard of price based on weight before for TP - but could be wrong
