  • Gonna ask what I always ask - any way to integrate with Home Assistant?

    • i will ask a way

    • +2

RF control, so not directly. Would need something like a Broadlink RM pro to be the gateway from home assistant (wifi) and the blind (rf).

      E.g. https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/broadlink/

      • Or even ESPHome I think. Possibly tasmota + sonoff.
There are bluetooth ones though, so hold out maybe

      • Good suggestion - didn't think of that!

I just happen to have a mini lying around… not sure if that will do it, or if I'd need an RM pro (currently being used to control the split system)…

    • What about this with Wifi module built in

  • Any recommendations for where to buy shades to fit inside the motor?

    • +1

Not associated, but No Bull blinds have always been well priced and quick when I've used them. Retrofitted some motors to mine and they work perfectly. Think they also supply motors for more $$

  • What length of blinds can this motor support?

  • +1

anyone had any experience with the solar charging…

    • Would like to know this too …

    • Just ordered 2 of them will see how it goes

    • I have some other rechargeable blinds I got off AliExpress and have recharged one 2 months in that gets used regularly and the other I haven't recharged yet. I therefore imagine with minimal sun you should be fine with them always having power.

  • Is there an option to wire a button?
