    I think thats just for a single monitor. These JBLs are a little on the pricey side but I've heard theyre the best you can get for the price

      I've since looked at product review and lots of complaints about DJ city sending ex demo stock. So disregard.

      Since you know about these speakers what would you reccomend, the krk or JBL? Ive listened to some krk rokit 8s that were awesome but not sure about the JBL

        I've heard the Rokit 5s are pretty similar to the LSR305s, both have a 5 inch driver whereas the Rokit 8 has an 8 inch driver.
        From what I've read, from there it mostly comes down to preference. The LSR305s are probably better for critical listening like mixing/recording music whilst the Rokit 5 is probably better for general listening. Both are very highly recommended from what I've read though so either way, you shouldnt be disappointed!

        StoreDJ will A/B these for you, last I checked.

        I demoed the 8 inch rockets vs the lsr mk1, but from my listening (and more recent talks with those who have experienced both models) I find the rockets somewhat muted and boxy, like old hop hop tunes sound well suited to them, but modern electronic is better suited to the lsr.

        I personally really disliked the rockets at a house party I went to recently. Didn't have the heart to tell the guy he should've listened to the lrs.
