I have one. It’s literally a felt tip pen where refills cost $12 or something. It writes no different to my cheap $2 ones.

I don’t regret buying it because I like the look, but boy it’s an overpriced thing that’s just marketing bs.

      • Same here. Bought it because it looks nice (went for the black and red one). Doesn't feel that much different from the Artline 200 felt pens I usually use.

        • I got the black and red too. 😎

Haha it’s the Artline 200 I was also thinking of when I wrote that.

People in offices flexing. Tax claim

  • Honestly, sometimes I feel like buying 10c pens from China, giving them a fancy name and charging $10,000 for it. I think the curiosity of buying a pen worth $10,000 is why people spend that kind of money in the first place.

if you just want a pen for general office use, pentel, pilot and a few other japanese brands make good bell pens for about the $5 mark, i never use the 10c office ballpoint pens as they write like rubbish.

but i also have some german lamy pens in the $60 region because they do smart things like retract the clip so you can’t put it in your pocket without first retracting the ink cartridge, that said fewer shirts now have pockets for pens.

it all depends how much writing or drawing you during the day that determines how much you spend on a pen, and if you want the physical feel of the pen body, or smooth writing of the cartridge.

i still use fountain pens a lot because i can get many different colored inks and you don’t need to press for the ink to flow and pen to write.
