        "Australian Stock with A-tick Approved"
"2 Years Australia Wide Warranty - covered by Samsung"

Check the website…. Warranty is not covered by Samsung….. Warranty is from Mobicity…. Loser…. First check the website and then reply….

Sonu1111 you have got it wrong between mobilecity and mobilrciti. They are different company.
The deal was from mobileciti (http://www.mobileciti.com.au/samsung-galaxy-s-ii-i9100-black) and in the specification page it clearly states that warranty is from manufacturer.

          "Warranty 24 Months - Manufacturer "

  • ebay have it for 589. not 100% its aus stock though

    • Nup..

Now you can get one of the hottest, super-thin smartphones in the market at the incredible price of just $569 (RRP: $899) with free shipping.
Stock is unlocked, express shipped from Hong Kong with OEM plug for Australia. It also comes with a 2 year warranty from the seller. This offer is strictly limited to 500 units on eBay Group Deals, so grab one before they’re all gone!

Not that i have anything against buying cheaper phone from eBay nor i care so much about the A-tick.

But the problem with all these "oversea" stock is that unless the manufacturer (e.g. Samsung Australia) is willing to fix it for you "locally", when your phone is dead, the turnaround time for getting your fixed is WAY too long and troublesome. Put aside the waiting period (normally take 2 weeks+ the quickest), how much do you reckon it gonna cost you to send it over if the seller doesn't reimburse the shipping cost? Definitely $20+ at least for a phone to be shipped over to HK.

So worth it? Well…….depends how MUCH cheaper, but in this instance, not for me anyway.

  • Can anyone comment if the phone is locked on any network and it comes with 2 years warranty. The info on dodo's website is limited.

With that price, most probably it's unlocked.
Then again, who knows? Nothing is ever straightforward with Dodo.
      Buy with caution …
