Are you sure you haven't been trying to use it for ineligible categories? Amazon decided to cut cashback across a lot of them.

Just purchased goods for $111 delivered and they knocked $10 off automatically (no mentioned of it being a visa benefit). I paid with a Woolies gift card.
Sorry I paid with visa and the total value was $113. $10 was taken off automatically. No idea why, just assume it was the visa promotion earlier.
Just don't be a muppet like me and pay with gift cards (makes purchase ineligible). 12%>5%.
