The mamba wireless comes down to about $72 as well, great price.

    • Thanks, got one.

  • can I put a titan z into this

  • Damn the non discount price is still VERY good. Most selling for $499 still.

  • Hi could someone explain how to use this?
    I have a Lenovo S730 with i7 10 Gen and 16gb ram.
I would like to use it for gaming. Can I essentially buy this external graphics enclosure, buy a GTX1660 Super, and a 144hz monitor to play games?

Hi this would be incompatible with your Lenovo as it does not have Thunderbolt 3. This is indicated by the lack of a lightning bolt symbol next to the type C port.

        I'm seeing

        Ports
        2 x USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 2 / Thunderbolt 3
        1 x USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 (DC-in)
        1 x audio jack

        here
So it looks like he can actually?

My bad typed in 370 instead of 730

          Disregard my comment

  • Got the v2 with the same code. Just wanted the extra USB Type-As for convenience…

    • How much did the V2 come down to?

      • 399, which is not as good a deal as this one and the compatibility is worse for large-sized cards. But I'm sure I'll be using a small card anyway and I really want to connect my mouse and keyboard on it for a real all-in-one cable.

  • The only problem with the Razer Core X is loudness. There's stacks of info out there of folk changing the PSU/fan to something a lot quieter.

Having said that, it is a very good unit!

I had the same issue, I got a PWM splitter and connected the enclosure fan to the GPU fans so it only spun up when needed, and even then it was much quieter than normal.

I have a razer blade Adv 15 with rtx2080mq card. Should I spend another $300 on this?

    • It’s not just $300, you’ve got to buy a graphics card on top of that. You’d be looking at another $300 to $1000 to fill it with a good GPU.

  • lol, got one from the local PC shop last Saturday for $450 with a 5700 XT on a Mac Book Pro, pretty happy with it, now to try bootcamp Windows

Wait, what. You got this AND a 5700 XT for $450?

  • Did anyone who bought this actually received it? I got the chroma version but it's still not dispatched..
