    You don't have to, but it's the recommended option for grandmas, or people who just like Safari a lot and don't want to bake adblock in themselves through other means.

      Note whilst it shows as free on the web page (https://apps.apple.com/app/adblock-pro-for-safari/id14841902…) once it opens the App Store app on the mac it shows as $14.99

          @Being Askhole: Is it possible it's free on the US App store but not the Aus one? (assuming thats a thing with the Mac App store (i.e. regional))
