Good deal, but sigh, wonder how many of the restaurants in there will still be in existence after this is over :(

  • What kind of stuff do you get with Entertainment Membership? Is it just kind of like Groupon?

    • With the membership you get most participating restaurants offering either 25% off total bills (up to certain amount, eg $40)
or buy 1 get 1 free

There are over hundreds of restaurant and shops participating in each city
usually you get paid off your membership fee by using 3-4 offers in your entire membership year
and the more you use these offers, the more you save

  • Are all editions the same price now?

    My personal experience only:
I've purchased the Entertainment book for 3-4 years now and while it was good at the start, I soon found there wasn't a lot of variety when it came to restaurants and cuisine type. I also felt that a lot of the restaurants were not "highly rated" (based on Zomato/Google ratings).

Also, the appearance of Zomato Gold has changed everything and I'm now an avid user of Zomato Gold. For approximately the same price in annual membership, there are a lot of different options to choose from and the app is so much easier to filter with. I'm not planning on renewing my Entertainment membership and will continue to use Zomato Gold.

    • Zomato Gold: same thing, good at start with the buy 1 free 1, not anymore

      • I agree, a lot of places have dropped the BOGOF option, but at least they've got some sort of discount if you pay on Zomato. Any discount is better than nothing :)

  • i actually wanted to ask ozbarg people whether if its appropriate to use entertainment vouchers in todays climate.
    seems like everyones struggling.

    • Guess it’s your call, but if it’s the difference between buying from the restaurant and not going there at all then I guess the vouchers the better option.

  • FYI, my membership expires in June and was wondering whether you can purchase renewals this early. So I bought it and it seems you are basically buying a code, and that code can be activated within 185 days, otherwise it automatically activates to the email account that purchased it.

To get started. activate your Membership yourself using your Activation Code(s) or choose to gift to a special someone.
Your activation code will expire in 185 days. After this date, the Membership will automatically be activated against the email address used to purchase.

  • Is it acceptable to include a referral link to support project from our local Rotary Club (which gives the same promo as above)?
(I realise referral links aren't normally allowed, but this helps a charity with local projects)
