Just flew to Phuket with Strategic Last week. Wasnt too bad considering only $310 ea way. The aging Entertainment system stuffed up on both ways. Reasonable leg room and meals was edible.
Good to see another budget airline.

It's a good deal if you actually get to fly! you have to be mindful of the potential for this to happen…
I currently have a booking with Strategic to fly Brisbane - Denpasar in November. Just recently they have changed both my departure and return journey dates which extended the duration of my trip by four days. I am currently in the process of getting them changed back (if possible) due to work commitments or will have to get a refund. The email they sent notifying me of my changed dates said it was because they are now flying more often (yet still on the days i booked?). Calling them was a nightmare and after 20 mins got absolutely nowhere (communication gap due to poor english on their behalf). I have since sent an email and waiting a response - not the best first impression i have to say! Maybe I was just unlucky :(
Update: all sorted and got given $50 vouchers to be used on future trips for inconvenience.

Everything went smoothly, so no issues so far. Never flown with Strategic before. CC surcharge was only 2% from memory..

Its really good to see another budget airline company in the market; I hope Strategic do really well and can expand their routes and Australian bases, and potentially offer more domestic routes.
As far as I'm aware they are Australian-owned too, which is also a positive.
