    I ordered at 5:20am and received an email saying it was pending credit check but that the $15 total cost as the iPad was included.

    Will wait and see how it goes but think they won’t honour it. Fingers crossed tho

      i ordered at 6.45am this morning and still saying processing your application. order details is tablet total min cost $0.00 over 12 months and plan $15 month to month red plan. Total cost $15.

      Ordered around the same time as you buddy. So far I've recieved the emails in regards to the Tracking post and that's it. Am a vodafone customer

  • I don't want to disappoint everyone here, but I personally experienced the similar situation 15 days ago. Result :Not honour the product due to price error!Ordered iPhone SX Max 512GB, total price: $1116 + $40 month to month plan, got email of pending on credit check, once system was back, would delivery in 1-2 business days (got screenprint to prove). I called two days later, staff told that due to current situation, order process is slow. No update after four days still, I made call again, I was told the product is end of product life, cannot process the order! I guess they realize it is price error, not making profit on that iPhone, Vodafone decides not to honour it. Lodged complaint immediately, a staff talked impolitely that "you have to re-order another product", I request a supervisor callback which he promised to do so, but never call back! Very disappointed! Not sure Consumer affairs will accept the claim or not.

      Well I am definitely assure you this iPad is at the beginning of the product life… but anyway see how we go!

    • I imagine you’d probably want it cancelled then? Unless you’re happy with that price… if not I think my credit check email said I had 72 hours to do it otherwise it would be cancelled

        Placed the order just after 7am. All the screens showed no cost for the iPad but the email I received showed a $142 cost. I haven’t answered their request for ID check so I assume they will cancel the order.

    I’ve had no contact since the email advising they were running a credit check - will wait and see what they say.

  • Called the customer care after waiting 40 mins.. they said it is all fine and just due to COVID-19 it’s slow processing at the moment.. asked to wait for another 24 hours and call back if there are no updates..

    • Same here. Called today afternoon and the guy who answered said that it's just been referred to the credit team for approval and there is a bit of backlog. Should know the status in the next 24 hours.

        I think its for exisiting customers whose credit check has already been approved, this is the last stage.

          • @georgev: nope, someone suggested in the comments that it will take 1-2 weeks so I will just play a waiting game here. It is not unusual with VF, I had to wait for a newly released iPhone as well.

          No need to call. Most people wouldn't even know to go to the tracking website. The email doesn't provide any link to tracking so your average shopper wouldn't have a clue.

    • If you call, most likely they will require you to cancel the order because of the price error or you can accept a normal price to proceed with the order.

          woah! not doubting or anything, but can you take a picture or screenshot and blur out the private info? I'm holding out hope since my confirmation email says $0 for device too but I'm not an existing (am previous) Vodafone customer and device is on backorder

              When some thing is so good to be true (like this deal) and everyone is waiting for the outcome of their own order I think its quite natural if someone wants to see some sort of confirmation just so that they can see some hope with their orders too… Its really up to you whether you should or shouldn't…

  • Another day and still no response or email from Vodafone to see if the credit check went through okay. I wonder if I should call or tweet my order number to them to check up on the progress?

    • I have a bad feeling that they might have intentionally held up all the orders until they notify everyone of the price error and ask if they are interested with the correct pricing (may be somewhat discounted from the original plan?).

      I truly hope that I am wrong though..

        Same. Was hoping it's just them taking a while to go through the backlogged of orders with maybe reduced staff. I kinda don't want to spook them by offering my order number and have them suggest that I should pay the full amount or cancel my order.

        Would be interesting to see if Mr Jeep would come through with some proof that he's gotten his iPad Pro on $15/mth and $0 device…

    Called Vodafone this morning to get an update. Agent advised that there was glitch in the system and it as a price error. They haven't cancelled the orders, but someone from Vodafone will contact(Email or phone) everyone who has ordered in the next 3 business days. He doesn't know what they are going to do, just that he has received communication that someone will contact us in 3 business days.

    Guess i am just going to wait and see.

        Definitely. There was over 1000 clicks and those are $2000 each. The contract is also month to month. Simple maths puts it at $2million. The contract can be cancelled after first month. It’s great to dream and I sincerely hope we get it but to those who took screenshots and threatened to use that against VHA…that’s just ludicrous.

          Yes that sounds logical but to get no response or even despite chasing up the order and given no definite answer, people assumed there is no issue with the order. If Vodafone jump straight into it, as in first day of the working week, (Monday), and rectify/ clarify this, then this should close out any doubt. At this stage, Vodafone has failed to communicate back in timely manner.

              Absolutely agree, their call centre in India is closed due to lockdown there so they are pretty much relying on their small team based in Aus.

        • Exactly, I did the same math and hoping they will either do not (will not) reply as the status waiting for more information which is pending from our end and not from Vodafone.

          When we check the status with customer service getting either response like 3 more days needed or asking for proceeding the order with corrected bill amount.

      • The agent I talked to yesterday said yes it was a mistake, but they might be able to do something for the 40 orders that were made. My order had the “no extra cost” on the website but the confirmation email came through saying $172.41 per month.

    • I have two $1 authorisation pending on my card …one from VHA Milsons point and another from Vodafone Australia North Sydney….

    • My pre auth has disappeared but no word on my credit check.

      Don’t know what that means…
