Manly Spirits Co is selling sanitiser for $75 for 5 L. But comes with very low stock and pre-order. Here is the link if anyone wants to give a try. You can add email address to get notified when pre-order is available.

    • Why would you add alcohol to 70% alcohol based sanitiser?

  • +1

Thanks. Actually not a bad deal and in fact it's cheaper than other places these days.
It's really bad seeing people paying too much for one from other places.
I remember I bought a bottle of 350ml hand sanitisers for $3.49 (or $10/L) from chemist warehouse in early January.
It's so difficult to find one without paying a ridiculous price considering the current situation.

  • I subscribed and no pop up with code , all I get is "Thank you for your subscription." message

    • +1

Follow OP instructions, after going to home page, click on Hand Sanitiser feature, you should be on page displaying 500ml and 60ml, then wait about 10 sec and popup should appear ……. try in incognito mode if this fails

      • thanks but no pop up comes up, I tried Chrome, IE and Edge. Can someone just share the code?

        • Just worked in IE for me, firefox doesnt work.

@zman09: got it, had to do it on my phone on 4G connection as my home network has pi-hole filtering content

  • +1

Anyone know where this is made?

  • +4

For those of you who thinks hand sanitisers will come back in stock at normal price in the next few weeks, its a far fetched reality.

We are in this for at least the next 6 months if not a yr. social distancing will be the word of the year 2020.

Handwashing with soap still best option WHEN DONE APPROPRIATELY. This is a good option on the go.

    Grab this while you can.

There are some reports that TGA have relaxed their regulations on hand sanitisiers. This is the reason why there will be an influx of many. Not only that, many more companies are now ramping up production.

The price will go down in due time - probably not back to pre COVID days but definitely down.

  • Thanks OP, not a bad price given current times and out of stock most places. Now to play the waiting game…

  • If you touch say, virus infected surface, and then you use hand sanitiser, do you think it will completely neutralise it enough to not get virus even if you accidentally touched your eye face mouth?

Companies taking advantages of Covid-19 to overprice their products should be ashamed!!!!!

Save your money and get hospital grade: https://www.whiteley.com.au/distributors
Just being scammed by people bulk buying from distributors.

    • +3

Great, but every supplier of those products that I click on say that a normal customer cannot purchase anything related to COVID19. So not really helpful unless you can post a better link?

      • I wonder how all those Chinese businesses do it? Massive orders; pallets of stuff like this

  • This is going to go on for a long time. Having a store of this (without clearing out shelves) is probably not a bad idea. I’ve read what others said about it coming back in to stock, but customers will be clearing it out quickly for months.

I've been making my own, but this does look like a reasonable deal. That's a lot of sanitizer. Isopropyl or ethanol, glycerin, hydrogen peroxide - these all cost money. Then prep, time, finding suitable bottles etc.

  • I did not receive a code for discount?

    • Follow the instructions in post

      • i did set up a login account, but still no discount code. i give up.

  • I pre-ordered but my paypal was not charged yet, no email from dbcosmetics as well. Anyone had this experience?

Also how do you generate a discount code?

    • Follow the instructions in description.

  • Got some thanks.

  • Thanks OP, bought some. Worth it after adding in the $10 discount.

  • Funny how hand sanitizer is now pre order and 1 month away and still price gouged. you would think you would get a discount on a preorder.
could it be that these companies don't have the products and have found it cheap from, Idk china maybe and are wanting a quick buck before the product arrives?
let me leave you with this thought, people the world over are sick and dying from this ccp virus australia is no exception. Ask yourself why this company is offering it direct to public for $65.94 for a six pack max of 2 packs meaning 12 bottles [6 liters for $131.88] total. Rather than supplying their distributors [pharmacies] where its needed most, where they can limit the sales per customer to make it more accessible to everyone? would it be fair to say that the pharmacies would have something to say about the price gouging as they know the actual price maybe?

On a different note, is this Ozbargain or Oz-ads because once again there is no bargain to be had here this is just a pure ad.

  • Great price in the current market. Ordered one pack for my family and one for the grandparents who live up north.

Thanks for the pre-order deal OP. Pay no heed to those who remain confused by the laws of supply and demand…

  • Thank you !!

I've been buying hand sanitizer at inflated prices on eBay, it's ridiculous. I'm on the Disability Support Pensionnand am at risk. I'm isolating other than when I have to have blood tests, and then I'll be using hand sanitizer a lot.

    So glad you posted this.

  • Got 50L last week WHO Formula from local Distillery @ $16.50/L this week got 25L and they have bumped it up to $22/L :(

    • whats the distilery?

      • Canefire on Great Western do it but not as cheap as that:( Dang

  • Amcal & Priceline staffs told me new stock after easter

  • +1

Thank you.. I have ordered some for my family with infant and mum. 👍👍👍

  • Not sure how you guys managed to get $10 off. I followed the instructions, received the email with the code, entered it and it's more like 10% off rather than $10 off. So I paid $59.94 for this. Anyway, I think the code is the same for everyone because I tried with 2 different email addresses and both received the same code.

    • I suspect all "you guys" took advantage of the deal that was active when this was posted, over a week ago.

In happier news, my local petrol station has dropped the price of petrol in the ensuing 8 days, so it's not all bad news…

  • Anyone of you able to see your transaction in the order history? Mines blank worryingly

    • Same :/
"We have recently upgraded our website with some exciting new features!
Any new orders you make from today will show in your history order in the future."

      • I wouldn't be too worried. In the unlikely event that the order wasn't processed, given how the price of this stuff has been tumbling lately, you'd likely to be able to buy considerably cheaper elsewhere, now…

      • Emailed them and they said its still in their system, for delivery on 1st may

  • On their newsletter they advise that deliveries will start from 15 April, 10 days later than previously advised.

    • Website says pre-orders will be shipped on 5th May. Time will tell…

  • I wonder how hard it would be to cancel ?

    Anyone tried it?

    EDIT: I’ll try tomorrow

    • Interested to hear how you go.

I may have over-ordered amidst all the fears of impending apocalypse…

      • +1

        Cancelled it; no problem.

I asked for a confirmation email and that arrived shortly after the phone call.

        • Just wondering, did you find a cheaper alternative?

  • Has anyone actually received this? I haven't heard from them at all and I can't even find an email with an invoice or anything. All I can see is the charge in my credit card :/

    • They are meant to send them today. If I don't get a notification I'll probably cancel.

      • Same. Let us know if anyone receives anything. Nothing as yet :\

  • Meant to start shopping today….

    • From today…

Could be next year by definition :(

  • +2

Called them and they confirmed it was shipped yesterday by Auspost. They will update with tracking no.

    • +3

Thanks for the update. Would have been nice to get the email.

  • +1

No luck in cancelling one of my orders. In a polite email received today, they said it was already invoiced and shipped (presumably from their Mulgrave, Victoria address?) so could not be cancelled, despite no shipping email being received at my end.

I'm not too disappointed or surprised, given they did indicate they would be shipping on/from May 5th. But it will be interesting to see if any tracking information materialises and when the order does arrive. Fingers crossed it doesn't coming in leaky bottles like the Scotts sanitiser from ChemistWarehouse / MyChemist or the late and leaky product from fevermates…

    • My Scotts were leaky but my fevermates were fine.

  • Recieved an email stating my order has been dispatched. Estimated delivery 11-14th may

  • +1

They claimed to have sent it but obviously NOT. They only scanned the item. Clearly scammers. Buyers beware

    • Dodgy… dodgy…

    • Yeah, somehow my package got stuck at their warehouse and never transferred to Auspost's facilities.

      • Sounds like mine.

    • I got shipping information from aus post Though

      • +1

Check where your parcel is right now. Chances are it hasn't even left the warehouse. Mine has been sitting in their warehouse "shipped" since last Thursday (email from Aust Post).

  • Never using them again. Clearly they haven’t sent it out and only scanned the auspost code to get us off their backs.

    • So what should we do?

  • Yet another profiteering misery merchant who lied through their teeth during a global crisis.

But I'm sure their brand will recover…

  • Hooray. It's actually on its way!

  • +3

    Mine came today. Smells nice

    • That's good!

  • received today (sat delivery), to metro sydney

  • +1

    Received mine Saturday.
Seem like good quality, nice pump, No leakage, slightly dearer than aqium.

Reasonably happy, could have arrived a little quicker.

  • +1

Mine arrived today after a long wait. The bottle looks nice and not leaky but unfortunately I couldn't bear the smell at all. Made in PRC.

    • Agreed. The family doesn’t like the smell either. As you apply it you get a unpleasant smell for 20 odd seconds before it smells mostly fine.

I might flog it somewhere for a business to buy. They’ll care less about the smell.
