Who are you having over in this economy???

    • +10

Should just be a treat for whoever is in the household, I don't recommend having anyone over.

      • That's a lot of marine life.

    • +8

Seems like a platter for one :)

    • +4

It looks like a nice feast for one to me !

      • Yeah, I think you would want to bulk it up with some chips or bread, but we didn't have time given Easter is soo soon.

    • +1

Some of us actually have a decent sized family to feed. You know parents once banged like rabbits in the old days

  • +5

So no Antidotes, no HMs/TMs, no Full Heal, no Full restore, no Revive etc.?

    • +1

Can probably include a poké bowl

    • +1

How about a Magikarp and Kingler special

      • +1

I think that is a fantastic idea for next week!

  • +1

Look nice. But I have to skip since I only want to cook them myself. Next time can we have uncooked frozen stock?

    • +3

Definitely! I'll do one next week once all the holidays are behind us.

      • Awesome man! I've already started writing down ideas in anticipation

    • +1

If they are the only ones with jobs, they can afford the $99.
To me, it doesn't look to be a bargain.

      • To me, it doesn't look to be a bargain

        agree
might consider it a bargain if I was a medico and had 50% off :)

      Hey!

We've actually been donating meals directly into the hospitals via pokéd. See here. Aiming to do at least 100 free bowls a week. From talking to them most of them don't actually have time to access a lot of the 50% deals and its the convenience of getting something straight to them that is key. Even accessing the delivery platform deals are near impossible for them as they can't just drop everything to go pick up their lunch.

We wouldn't have the cashflow to do 50% off on something like this, but this is something we will definitely keep in our consideration.

I keep bumping into my local GPs/ nurses at Maccas/ Nandos which offer free coffee/ 50% off food

        • -1

          I stand corrected!

You should keep social distance, rather than bump into them.

They're on the front lines, putting themselves and their families at risk. I don't think your comment is kind or helpful.

Absolutely; and for their hard work they deserve a free coffee or 50% off Nandos; My point being, contrary to what OP has said, some frontline health workers do have the time to access deals

  • OP did you ever find out if you could get your wagyu in thicker steaks?

    • Working on it, we have had to change suppliers for meat so back to square one. Will definitely keep you posted once we get access to it.

    • You still want thicker cuts of the OPs last “train wreck” deal??? Hat’s off to you.

  • Perfect timing, hubby's birthday tomorrow and I'll be working in the Pharmacy all day so this will make a delicious dinner!
    Thank you OP!!

  • Why can't we have this in QLD?

    • haha we will have to expand up to QLD soon!

      • +1

We have to support our local communities, can't sell everything to China.

There was a woman who was bad, nobody was badder.
But she had more crabs than a seafood platter.

    • +1

      This platter has no crab.

      • We will include some on next weeks platter!

        • +1

It's okay. We don't want her crabs.

  • Where's the lobster from?

  • Melbourne only? Not (Vic).

    • +1

      Yes, my bad!

  • any Morteon Bay Bug deals OP?

    • +1

I think the prices on them are still pretty high at the moment. Will double check with the supplier

  • +1

    Roe on scallops

  • +6

If i were to get the same ingredients at woollies:

Lobster tails: $8 each, lets say 2: $16
    Oysters approx. $2 each: $12
    Lets say average $30 p/kg for prawns @ 500g: $15
Similar trout often $5 each: $10
    Grand total: $53

    • It's probably imported rubbish isn't it?

      • The lobster may be imported, but other than that - no.

    • Is this just a wild guess? Im assuming so.

      • -4

        No. Ask the Op

      • Just got confirmation from the supplier. Prawns are Australian. Lobster is from Florida. Oysters are from tassie as is the smoked trout.

I’m not sure where the hate from China is coming from.

        • Genetics

        • I'm not sure where the hate from buying Australian sourced products is coming from.

    • That's ikea seafood.

Just had mine delivered, with three of the four items undersupplied. Have send you a message, Justin.

    • +1

Same, Justin said no lobster in mine and will refund.
      Also missing 2 prawns.
      Not really impressed.

      • +1

Same. But, customer service was very good in follow up - has now been resolved. Also, have to say the delivery was very good, polite and mindful of social distancing.

  • Hi OP, Still waiting for the refund from the last sliced wagyu deal. The order number is 1427. I have texted twice and got no response.
