      • lol eyeroll

        • Maybe Paris Hilton used to own it?

    • +1

      Probably "secured" from Vodafone?

      • -3

That would have been brand new in a box then :)

    • -7

yes absolutely thats a steal but on a contract and some people are having issues signing up and credit check fails etc. So ya thought of posting this.

      • +3

No, they are selling them uncontracted. No credit check required

        • -1

Can you please share the link. This is on a contract

          • @erroorfree: In case you missed this on post you linked : Technically it ties to a plan but they allow breaking the plan by paying off the handset (at discounted price, not at original price).

          • @erroorfree: They do not sell outright online you must go in-store.

            I recently bought one.

@tlawson: Would you mind elaborating on this?

How much was it to buy the phone outright in-store?

              • +2

@thehub: In-store you can buy the handset without a contract, you have to pay the full amount for the phone up front.

Outright prices are listed on the product sheet next to the phone, the phones are not locked to Vodaphone and they do not have any Vofaphone software or branding on them.

                Google Pixel 4 XL 64gb is $639
                Google Pixel 4 64gb is $524

                • @tlawson: Thanks for the info! I wasn't aware you could just buy the phone outright.

    • Actually less, there were 75-100% cashback on first orders, so about $50 of the phone gets paid back(plus your sim cost), then they also give you $25 off your second bill for minimising the page for a couple minutes.

The PROBLEM WAS — Those sons of B*&!!ES sent the phone+case in a mid-size cardboard box with with absolutely nothing to protect it from taking damage in the hollow box where it bounced around.

Not sure why this phone Brandnew, should be priced this high, let alone refurbished one.

  • +1

It should be 500 refurb consider brand new only around 600 on voda

  • If you are interested in used here is another option for $899 https://ozmobiles.com.au/buy/google-pixel-4-xl-64gb-black-ex…

      1 in stock - not a deal

  • +2

the voda phone deal is much better

  • no deal, pixel 4a incoming

  • Geez that's the price of brand new phones with more than 64gb storage haha. That's crazy! Just a few bucks more and you got a brand new s20.

Hey OP, you should know OzB is a tough crowd to please. You are only doing your store harm by posting dud deals like this. Honestly, the Vodafone deal would have come up as you were posting this so there is no excuse. Have a well deserved neg and try harder next time.

  • What billy_bob said.

Brand new from google is less than this refurb. How dare this rep can post such a ripoff and say its a deal

  • I'll neg your deal simply because you have misleading descriptions. These are used phones and should be declared as such.
