  • Would this be good or fttp?

  • I use one for HFC NBN. Had it for 9 months now. Havent reset it once. good router for 100 bucks. The last crummy router that exetel sent me at sign was a dog. Bad range, needed reset once a week.

There was a deal for the C9 for similar money a few months ago though,The c9 deal is expired of course and is now $147 Out of stock. I think if you actually need a basic router for the average suburban oaf (me) this is a great deal.

    • Thanks for the feedback and info that it works for HFC NBN.

But in general, how do we find which modem/router fits which technology? If any idea,
      Thanks,

      • For FTTC,HFC,FTTP Technology you will just need a router and for FTTN/FTTB Technology you will need a modem + router.

  • Had a similar model TP-Link for well over 2 years now and I think I've had to restart it once on my FTTP service. Been very happy with it for the low price.

  • ? This work ok with FTTN NBN and Phone line

No phone supported. You can use this tp link as second router for wired/wireless devices to connect. Keep your existing router, might be from your ISP?, for your phone line.

  • Which one would you guys recommend this or the D-Link AC2600? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/528247

  • ac1750 is kind of old in 2020

    • Is there any disadvantage to an older router for people who aren't planning on doing any serious gaming, but just want fast and reliable internet for video streaming etc? What router would you recommend for somebody on a budget?

  • Got one of this, extremely happy with it.

  • Reminds me of my older Archer D9, looks very similar and has barely skipped a beat over the past 5 years.
