will these all work on windows 7 ??

:( wish windows 7 had ipx

    • there are a few sites out there that deal with it. Apparently there are some issues, but they can be fixed

    • They all have 'work arounds' but they are tedious and inconsistent. :\

    • that was my first/main concern also

  • +1

that's a great deal. Generals and Zero hour are still great in my opinion

    • +1

Been playing Zero hour for years, love it. CC was my first love, as 'Good Game' would say. Very tempted to get this!

  • +2

Oh man… Don't tempt me with games that I'll just never end up getting the time to play much of, and yet so desperately want to just for the nostalgia.

  • I wonder how hard it would be to get this running on a mac with cider or bootcamp??

Everything up to RA2 was release for free anyway, and is basically all broken on modern computers as it was written so badly in the first place.
Also note that Renegade is considered one of the worst CNC games, so you are paying for RA2 and Generals.

    • +1

Actually Renegade is a lot of fun. Anyway look up the price of just Generals and Zero Hour - this pack is still cheaper than getting just those two

      • Agreed. Renegade didn't live up to the hype, but it was still great fun. Being "inside" C&C in FPS was great.

  • Wasn't this a free download a while ago???

Red alert was brilliant back in the day, such a good challenging strategy game.

    • Nice finds, but just a heads up to anyone who doesn't figure this out: the last link is actually for C&C Gold, the first C&C. Disregard what it says about it being C&C 3 Tiberium Wars.

Ahhh…the days I crushed GDI Scum with just NOD Bikes.

    Good Memories.

Some Covert Ops were near impossible.

    • Yeah baby - sent nod bikes to destroy landing area for new hardware… good times.

Sheldon will be over the moon with this.

    • As in Sheldon Cooper, you idiot ('idiot' meant in reasonable jest)

    the GOOD old Days… :)

  • awesome. spent/wasted months of 1st and 2nd year uni with C&C

  • Good deal, I bought this for my brother I think 2 years ago for around $45 and it was next to impossible to track down. I got it from overseas.

  • +1

Be careful about impulse buying this one - don't just "Act on Instinct".

    For king and country!

And Tanya's ass… My love for Russian women has this game to be blamed for.

some of the best FMV in a game ever.

  • Ever since EA Games took over, it's been going downhill

    • I actually enjoyed Red Alert 3 to be honest.

  • Good collection of games. Just make use of a VM or dosbox to play some of the classics! Yes, this means you could use your Mac as well..

Totally love the RA series though… RA2 and Generals has to be the best of the bunch.

  • FYI it's been $15 (free shipping) at ozgameshop for at least the past 6 months. And yes, there has been restocks of it in that period of time, as I was looking at where to buy it :) http://www.ozgameshop.com/pc-games/command-and-conquer-the-f…
