Follow up - Got a text saying to pick up my click and collect. Went and picked up with no issues. Not sure why I was told it would be refunded when I called up last week but they never refunded. Ordered with Paypal if that made any difference.

Just spoke to Liquorland about this as it wasn't reducing in cart and they said it's an "error" and they're in the process of cancelling all orders that went through.
I said it seems like a very accurate page to be an error given it had a promo period listed and a set list of wines… they just said it's not being honoured.

Just picked up my "Any 4 for $40" about an hour ago in Brisbane's west. Ordered last night, got confirmation that the order had processed but no SMS to collect. It was bagged up waiting for me in store.
You might want to try your luck if in the same boat. YMMV.
I orderex 4 of the taylors and had an sms to colldct. went to store and manager said sorry its not in stock and the ones behind the counter were for another order.. bit annoying. Anyway went to anothet liqourland and they had 6 of the 2016 year. Came up as $192 initially but then down to $60 automatically! So try your luck if there's stock at your store.
The 4 for $40 deal is still on in physical stores and includes the Taylors Jaraman Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml but most stock is likely allocated to online orders. I saw plenty of stock of the Langmeil
Blockbuster Shiraz 750ml I ordered 2 bottles of.
There is a current deal at 3 for $36 on that Shiraz and plenty of stock in stores.
So basically if you ordered the Taylors Jaraman Cabernet Sauvignon and haven't heard from LiquorLand by now it'd be due to no stock.
Picked up my 4 Taylor’s first thing this morning. The guy working said it was a pricing error and other stores were cancelling but he didn’t want to cancel mine as he bought 4 for himself lol.
Picked up 12 an hours ago. One more click and collect of 9 I have not heard about and 12 for delivery either so I assume they will be cancelled.
I would not stress to much if you miss out on the 2017 version of this wine.
We had a bottle tonight and $10,in today's market, in our opinion, is a fair price.
My order ended up with 3 16s and 1 17. Will drink the 17 first and see how it gets better with the next bottle.

Picked up my order tonight of 5xBlockbuster Shiraz 3xTaylors Jaraman Cabsav. Got no SMS or email for pickup but went anyway. Lady was a bit confused as said they had to online pickups but after checking she found it in the system, printed it out, then went to the shelves and grabbed the bottles. Seems like Coles may of been holding the orders rather than processing them?
Ordered 4 Langmeil Blockbuster. No sms so called in today. Apparently they’ve been out of stock for several days but they did have 6 bottles of the Jaraman Cab Sav so I happily bought those and then had to phone for a refund of my click and collect.
You should ban all click and collect Liquorland sales on here. Absolute scam. Took my money, and my wife's money, and cancelled apon pickup. Saying "others had got in first", and that they couldn't give us a refund, "Click and collect" has to. Still waiting after 3 days and no notification from anyone until i called on day 3.

Yep load of rubbish. Went to pick up and told it wasn't there. Asked for money back and they looked at me like I was stupid. Why not at least an automated email and an automated refund? What I've got to go chasing it down myself?
Then I had to pick some wine increasing my covid exposure, why I picked click and collect in the first place.
"Out of stock" was just the excuse they were told to tell us. So not only are they holding the money with no refund but they are also lying to your face.
Replying to a few people in this thread-
I've done some contracting work in Liquorland stores. A big red box flashes on their POS screen (within an hour usually) saying there's a click and collect order, which they'll pack up right away. The store staff just need to see ID or something on pickup and AFAIK they have absolutely zero control over refunds or order specifics as it's all done on a separate system for the web store.
The stores like to keep a tight lock on their stock levels but theft and the occasional receipting errors means their system will show they have stock which they don't.
It's possible the employees are keeping the stock for themselves but I really doubt it. Usually before a product they want goes on special they'll know about it (to put up sale tags) and buy a bottle on the morning the specials come into affect. Although I can now see why this may be an issue if they have the last bottle waiting out the back to buy when they come in for night shift the next day…
After a botched cashback once before, I rang up the Liquorland support line and told them I wasn't interested in picking up the bottle anymore. The guy didn't ask any questions and the call was over in a few minutes. Surprisingly easy!

Interesting to see the 4 for $40 deal in the Coles catalogue starting 22/4 with the Taylors Jaraman Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml front and centre in the spotlight of the deal. The wine has even been removed from LiquorLands website.
And in an interesting turn-of-events, my order from 16th Apr 2020 @ 7:19pm is NOW ready for collection. SMS received and status has changed from open to "Shipped."
It seems the new catalogue put pressure on Coles to fulfil all open orders.

An update from my earlier comment:
I went in store today and the 4 for $40 is running in-store only. Picked up 6x D'Arenberg The Footbolt Shiraz and 6x Langmeil Blockbuster Shiraz for $120.
$19 and $25 respectively at 1st Choice = $264 'real value' for $120!
That's got iso sorted for a few days… ;)

Sales normally end today but it might keep running. These wines were in my failed online purchase as they were originally listed. In store didn't have a 4 for $40 ticket on one or both from memory but worked, so just check the price at register.
I called Liquorland as I haven't received any more emails other than my initial order. The rep told me that the Taylors was a price error but they honored it for whatever was on the shelves but any more that was outside of the shop stock will not be honored and be refunded. They are having trouble contacting customers for refunds so it's preferable we call up to check the status.
I also called and it seems they're just waiting on stock to arrive for the Cab Sav. Probably another week or so wait for it.
My delivery order is showing as cancelled in my order history. Took my money, but a week later and no phone call, no email and no refund from Liquorland yet. Dodgy.

Guess they've decided to not honour those who bought it in time but never got the conf to pick it up

Ordered 12, invoiced for 4 so I guess $80 back. No biggie I’d rather the St Hugo I’ve picked up anyway.

Yeah rang them up and was told it was a pricing error and would be refunded. Hard to imagine it's a pricing error when it was part of a prepared sale where it was clearly listed. Looks like they realised after the fact that it was a little too good and decided to 180 on the offer. Oh well.
