A$7.79 if you set the currency to AUD on their site.

Edit: Nevermind seems you pay in USD.

    Edit2: I was charged $7.78 through CommBank.

+1 for using addictive instead of addicting.

I know the latter is technically also OK but it sounds so weird to me (also this game is Ace).

    • Can't +1 this enough.

Having had kids already, my life goal is now to work for google and "search and replace" to replace addicting with addictive across the entire internet.

    Highway Spaghetti: The Game

  • +4

I really, really wanted to love this game, but I got put off by the broken traffic system. Cars forming massive queues in one lane while there are four other perfectly good ones, merging like total idiots, etc.

I know there are ways around it, but it shouldn't be necessary to basically hack around a core game mechanic to make it useable.

Still, for this price it's a good buy. The modding support is top notch and goes some way to fixing the game's problems. In many ways it's the game the "new" Sim City should have been.

I think with traffic manager and roundabout builder mods you can fix that pretty easily, especially with the latest version of TM. Also while it is annoying, the game isn't about building bigger and wider roads, so if your game is doing that, it is most likely your city isn't planned out optimally. It usually points to underlying causes in your city. Check out Biffa's YouTube channels to learn more. Using his tips and the mods, my traffic never goes below 70%.

+1 to everything you've said. Get Traffic Manager mod and watch Biffa.

You should be able to 'outplay' the AI if you apply yourself.

      merging like total idiots

Oh so it's modelled around Aussie drivers.

  • Are any DLC’s worth buying?

    • +2

Mass Transit is probably the best and most useful. The other ones add different things depending on how you play it.

Great game if you want to relax for a couple hours in the evening and only stop playing because you've realised it's gotten light outside.
