    Harvey Normal in their last "buy 1 get 2" deal was selling AMD based laptops similar to this one, only 4GB ram, 500Gb hard disk, 1Gb video card etc. etc. price nearly $1,400 Lol

      I guess the bargain is the saving on delivery $29 over the same laptop at mln.com.au for $999. I guess if you're in Melbourne you can get for the same price and pickup.

          ASUS in general has a positive reputation for laptops and computers.
          While HP does have a positive rep, but not as good as the ASUS.

          One of the good things about ASUS is aesthetics.

          Also in this particular laptop, the warmer components are not near the plam rest area (very frequent in other laptops - dont know why) which is a little goodie.

      5400rpm and 2.0gHz. Rep doesn't need to state this since it's a standard model that you can get the full specs (and reviews) for elsewhere.
