Dan Murphy's current price for this is $60.99. For those looking at this alternative Dan's should price-match the original $52 but you won't get the full 25% cashback.

(Mod note: Prices in title should not include post-cashback pricing, refer to Title guidelines. Prices must indicate the amount payable upon checkout, including postage costs if applicable)

Reply to Mod: My revision specifically didn't include post-cashback pricing, it alerted deal chasers to the discount available AND the limited timeframe. This is no different to deals which simply advertise increased cashback offers. Your editing actually does a significant disservice to deal hunters imo.

  • I've logged the problem with ShopBack. Click and purchase history is there. Up to them and BWS to make good on the promised discount.

  • I got the rote Shopback response telling me my cashback wasn't logged by BWS and has been rejected. I'll be taking the steps I suggested in this deal. The sooner these shonky offers by retailers and their rebate collectors are cracked down on the better.

    • Same for me, it didn't track and then the manual claim I made was denied by Shopback, and denied again upon replying to the denial, despite the evidence of clickthroughs and following all criteria. Clearly a systemic issue. Have now written to BWS as the next step.

      • I've already started composing my written complaint to the ACCC in anticipation of neither BWS nor Shopback making good on their promises. The ACCC likes big wins and will only act after numerous similar complaints but at least I'll have registered my complaint. And I won't mince words.

The problem when dealing with BWS is that the people on the "help desk" have no way of knowing what went wrong at their end. If they're anything like FCL then they won't even be aware of the offer. Anecdotally it seems Shopback's reliability and influence is a long way off where it should be. I'll take my purchases back for a refund after I've exhausted other avenues and won't use Shopback again. Not worth the hassle and angst.

    • Got rejected too…Other claims haven't been an issue so so I call crap too…

Upon receiving the updates from BWS, your Missing Cashback claim for Order ID was rejected because your order was not attributed to ShopBack.

While you have made a purchase on BWS via the ShopBack platform, the following scenarios may have disrupted the trackability of your transaction:

      1. Using promo codes that are not eligible for cashback
      2. Opening of web pages (including search sites, social media, store sites, promotional/discount sites) or web browsers after clicking through ShopBack
      3. Clicking through to another page from a banner or an advertisement on the store’s website whilst shopping
      • I've raised the issue directly with BWS. They initially blamed SB but after I wrote them a long email they've escalated to another area of BWS. Essentially, given the existence of the SB click record and BWS' purchase record I asked them whether or not they would be honouring their advertised promotion. If they don't I'll return the purchases and send the ACCC a detailed account of the whole scheme and its lack of transparency. Pita but this "not tracked" bs is a regular (if relatively rare) occurrence so it's time they were called out. Interestingly the only two businesses I've had issues with are First Choice Liquor (Coles) and BWS (Ww). Small bikkies for them but actually quite a big issue from a legal and trust perspective.
