G'day all,

I stumbled across this Removu R1 Cradle for $1 on the JBHIFI website.

It is a Camera Clearance item

Although it is listed as a Camera Clearance item (limited quantities, in limited stores, while stocks last). I noted they are reporting stock in the following stores @8:45am 22nd April, I didn't check any other regions.
* Instore at Fyshwick Home, ACT
* Instore at City Canberra
* Instore at Bathurst
* Instore at Mt Druitt
* Instore at Bankstown Home

It is an Ex-Display model

It is also described as an Ex-Display model and JBHIFI has provided the following explanation on what that means.

What is an “Ex-Display” item?

    For the GoPro;

    Mount your REMOVU R1 to any GoPro compatible mounts and accessories. You can mount it just about anywhere and see the real-time scene that your GoPro is shooting. Start and stop recording by pressing the button on REMOVU R1.

    Had a look around metro VIC and stock showing up (unsure of quantities though):

  You need to have the actual Removu R1/R1+ unit in order to have any use for this cradle.

    absolutely must? coz I see 2 pretty generic holes with lots of room around it, so IMHO it could easily be attached to lots of different things :)

      Not sure what you're getting at or what your point is.

      The 2 holes you're referring to are presumably to enable this cradle to be attached to a GoPro compatible mount. So yes sure, you can attach it to anything you want, if you want to 'bodge' it.

      In any case, I wasn't talking about what you could attach this cradle to. The point I was making is that this cradle is intended to hold a Removu R1 unit. If someone does not actually have this, what else would one put in the cradle?
