Pack includes an Oricom UHF182 5 Watt Dual Antenna 80 channel UHF CB Radio, a UHF fibreglass 6.5dBi antenna (model ANU230), 4.5m of co-ax cable and stainless steel brackets.

The dual antenna technology means that when you have two antennae fitted you automatically receive the strongest signal as the radio works out which is the better signal without the need to manually switch between the two.

Pack includes a 6.5dBi Antenna which is the go-to for general use. Fit a second 3dBi antenna for hilly areas or a 12dBi antenna for longer range in flatter terrain.

    $428 has never been paid for this Oricom, IMO. The hideaway, all functions in the mike version can be found for less than that. $199 is alright but.

    Nobody expects a UHF in a little hatchback, lol.

      I would think the dodgem car antenna would be a giveaway. Please tell me you have the longest antenna you could buy…

      • Nah, its all in-cab.

        My mates and I have them cigarette lighter powered, so we can move them between cars.

        We just use them to chat, or (not joking) relay back if the mountain is clear of other drivers or not. Very anime of us, I know, but hey at least the group has SOME form of responsibilty.
