I’ve linked to the fly for free website but basically book by 27/4/20, stay by 31/3/21 and get 15€ off. (Edit I tried to, but they aren’t allowed for some reason)

I started a booking for bali and the code was accepted but for a smaller amount. You still have to pay taxes if the hotel costs 15€ or less.

It's a bit like investing in bitcoin. Expect the value can never go up but could certainly go down.

I have two free reward nights worth $500 on my account and I'm not banking being able to use them.

Booking a hotel through Expedia isn't remotely like buying Bitcoin - it's incredibly unlikely they'd ever go bust. You do know how big they are and how much money they have?

Granted income will collapse this year, but given their costs are a tiny percentage of revenue, I don't see how that would impact their survival.

I wouldn't be so sure. Their shares are down over 60%, they've just had to raise $3.2b USD and they have laid off loads of staff. Even if they do come through this, and they probably will, I don't see why you'd spend money on a hotel room for $25 discount right now.

The travel world had become dominated by the likes of Expedia and its brands but who says they will emerge as the centre point of travel in the future?
