meh would rather the soniq 42 for 399… at 10 dollars an inch over the 32 inch that they sold, that was a great buy, @180(difference in the 42 and 46)/4 = thats a $45 per inch premium for the bigger TV

    • Did you take the postage into account?

      • hmmm yeah you can pick up easily from JB, where as with kogan it would have to be delivered for most people.

Kogan TV - the remote interferes with pretty much all cheap DVD players. The firmware on the TV is very very average. Also, dunno whether Kogan implemented 60Hz support properly (needed for blu-ray TV playback and proper PC connection).

My recommendation: get a proper brand TV instead.

  • We've had two Samsung HD LCD sets, 46" and 50"… Both had major failures within 6 months that Samsung didn't want to know about… So advertising it as having a Samsung panel isn't exactly a feature we look for these days :)

The word is Samsung does a John West. Keeps the best for themselves and sells the rejects to the seagulls.

  • Interesting how Kogan manages the pricing now - there was a 32" 100Hz TV that is no longer on the list after JB dropped their prices and they had to give away some free ones!

  • silly question
