    Power: 1850-2200W

Thats a lot of ummm power.

    • Suspect that's a mHa number, Kogan's unit is rated at 2600 mHa.

Handily, the link to the manual for the K-Mart unit goes nowhere.

    • It's battery powered, unless it uses Tesla battery I don't know how it can use so much electricity.

    • +1

And can run for 3 h on highest settings :-) 6.6 kWh battery for 90$, give me 2!

Can someone who buys it please take a photo of the back where you would look at it from. I want to compare the screen with one from eBay/Aliexpress.

  • Obviously not a self-defence item - can't see the need to massage anyone breaking in. Weird name, but I guess someone thought it was cool at the time.

    • +1

No, a self pleasure item :)

  • Thanks, got one. Can't be overly bad for $89….

    • Online? Seems unavailable..

      • +1

Yeah…I'm 6026 in Perth. It said low stock at Joondalup, so went to C&C then said it wasn't available for C&C but delivery was available. Weird but it took my order.

Just a PSA that this isn't recommended as a replacement to a Hitachi Magic Wand … YMMV …

  • Can anyone explain the differences between the one posted and this one? https://www.ebay.com.au/i/274094403418?chn=ps&norover=1&mkev…

    • 5 speeds vs 6?
eBay one is probably more powerful, might be faster.
One might be louder than the other.
It's hard to gauge as they both don't have a lot of specs listed.

Got one yesterday. I have nothing to compare it to in terms of massage guns, but I’m very satisfied with it so far. Note this does not include a carry case. I haven't been able to grind the motor to a halt by pressing hard on the massager, so it seems powerful enough. It's also quiet enough to use and still watch TV, but I'm certain there'd be quieter models out there.

Yes, there's eBay versions, but they're a bit of an unknown and I figured I can always return this easily if it turned out to be rubbish or died.

I was toying with the idea of doing the Jigsaw thing and bought the attachments, but all my jigsaws have rollers behind the blades and the massage attachments don't fit. I'm also mainly buying it for use on my shoulders and neck, and jigsaws are reportedly potentially dangerous to use in this area - so I figured $89 was a good amount to spend to try out a massage gun.

  • Is it better to put it directly on the area needing attending or move it around in a circular motion?

    • +4

Thanks for making me spit out my drink

  • +1

What's the range of the gun? Can I massage someone from across the room?

  • Seems to be back in stock online if anyone is chasing one

    • In Perth anyway…

  • Sold out everywhere around Brisbane

  • how many tokens can I earn with this?
    (asking for a friend)

  • I love this post and the fact that half the folks are talking about muscle relief and the other half are talking the "other" relief. The formers have no idea and it's hilarious

  • No stock anywhere around Sydney I believe

  • Mine rocked up today. Seems pretty good for the price but I haven't used any of the more expensive ones.

One thing I will say is that the AC adapter/plug is huge. I can't fit it in my bathroom plug because it hits the bench…and another is that it's reasonably loud. If you were buying it for the other kind of relief, you'd struggle to be discreet with it lol. Better off getting something fit for purpose.

Just quick update: good for the first couple days, build quality feels good. Couple days past of using maybe 30minutes a day and the internals screws have come loose making it unusable without opening to fix. Will be taking back for a refund. Maybe I got a dud.
