Got this in my inbox just then.
Looks like they are trying to match vodafail's previous $45/mth GS2 sale?
1.5GB/mth + $550 worth of calls and unlimited Facebook, linked in, twitter data :)

EDIT: Sorry guys, updated the title to reflect the offer.

  • So light on details it's not funny….

    $1029 is the total for a 24 month contract @ $49 a month..

Up to $550 included value (calls & txt)
1.5GB Data. Unlimited Voicemail. Unlimited mobile access to Facebook®, Twitter®, LinkedIn, MySpace, eBay and Foursquare

$1029 is for 21 months, as 3 months are free. so works out just a bit cheaper than vodafones 45 infinite

Lol if you only click on the link, It's 49 dollars a month, 3 month free, 24 month contract.

Total Cost over 24 month only 1029.

Beats being locked on Vodafail for 24 month for a similar price.

$1029 for the unreleased Galaxy S3 would be a great deal. To bad no one has a time machine.

jv has informed us all of a good bargain in 2057.

just a shame that sales of the S3 will be blocked by apple. I guess this is the last Galaxy S to be produced and sold?

  • Vodafail has this on 45 infinite plan
    with unlimitted call/SMS
plus 10% disc using NRMA member
    plus $84 from moneybackco

Been using it for 1 week… No problem at all

  • Can anyone else smell a new iphone around the corner?

Just wondering how the GS2's pricing will hold up. A 12mth plan would be good.

Apple to announce iPhone 5 on Oct4.

    • +2

      I'll edit that for you:

I read on the internet about a rumour this site had picked up on that has nothing to do with apple but they said apple will release the iphone 5 on October 4th. Has to be true.

    • So?

  • I've never used Optus for data… Everyone I talk to who is on Optus (mostly iphone users) complain about the slowness of their 3g network. That made me chose Voda…
Also their call value is quite good. I call overseas quite a bit. With optus/telstra caps overseas calling is not included.

I believe Voda is investing a lot of money on upgrading their network

Check to see if your area is already covered…

I used to have a iphone 4 with them and data performance wasnt great. Since I upgraded to SGS2, its been great.
I even listen to online radio while on the move, even on trains…
I got the samsung on a 12 month plan paying a little bit more. SO that at the end of the 12th month, id have the option of getting a new phone and moving to a new provider!

BTW, love the SGS2 - So fast!

  • seems like non bussiness can get on $49 plan but no 2 months free at moment
