  • How much will this be at 7pm?

    • +1

Yes, it looks like you can buy it now for the same price. I just added on to the shopping cart without issue.

  • Anyone have one of these TV's and want to comment?

  • Don't forget, you can save a further $10 with the MoneyBackCo discount.

I'll think I'll buy one as well. Would appreciate any comments on this TV.

  • I love these price beating war, bring it on baby!!!

  • There are a whole heap of reviews on the product here:

      Thanks Dick

    • Will it be cheaper from 7pm-8pm, or is the final price?

      • -1

what are you on about mouth?
This TV will be $298 from 7pm to 8pm, there is no other price at 7pm

        • There was an error earlier which was showing as buy it now for $298 but its fixed now..

  • What about HDMI port??? Nothing mentioned about HDMI. However it comes with a built in HD TV tuner which is an amazing feature to have in a full HD TV. :D

    • DSE website says it has 2 HDMI inputs.

  • Don't know if anyone cares - but I noticed today on a JB catalogue there was a full HD 42" Soniq LCD for $399 http://www.jbhifi.com.au/

i'll put an add up for that 2x HDMI 2x component

    • Oh ok it's already on Oz B with like 58 +
So damn cheap, almost worth getting a spare for watching movies on PC in bedroom, got a very nice 27" monitor though so i dunno :(

      • +1

The JB hifi one is LCD - this is LED/LCD… oranges and apples

        • +1

yeah I know, was just out there, completely different size and price range anyway

  • With its "USB Media Playback" what file formats can it play back?

    • probably the typical jpeg and divx stuff

      • i think it supports mkv too… :) hd

These should make a very good and "cost effective" 32" picture frame display for the wall, just wonder if the TV will scroll jpgs on a usb stick

    • You've got to be kidding me. lol

  • hows this for a computer monitor?
    mostly to watch movies on?

    • +1

It will definitely work if your video card has HDMI output. I wouldn't recommend it for a serious gamer though, TV's response-time isn't as fast as proper computer monitors.

  • Purchased. Massive thanks to the OP :)

    • +1

the sale hasn't even started yet

      • Just purchased at that price. If it gets rejected ill do it tonight @ 7

        • What if it's cheaper at 7pm? That is what the website suggests!

  • I reckon it will be $298 @ 7pm. They just fixed the problem and price is back to $448.

  • Will most likely be getting this thanks perfect size for the room :)

  • At least this one is close to being energy efficient: <1W, 90W. I got an email offer for one from Big W a few days back and it was an unbelievable 340W energy guzzling monster.

  • Newbies question: 80cm in which dimension ?

  • thx op, just got 1@$298

  • +1

Thanks OP, great deal. Went into DSE today and had a look at it - pretty decent quality - so I bought it. Nice find.

    • Wow, order has been dispatched already, that's pretty quick. Still waiting for it to arrive though.

      • Yer mine dispatched just then. Hope to get it Monday.

        • My tracking is showing no results. Can anyone else see anything?

      • +1

Just a note for those with the same issue as me… tracking showing no results. I spoke to Startrack on the phone, they haven't actually received the package from Dick Smith. DSE apparently do this often, they send out the email saying "it's out of our hands, not our problem anymore, blame startrack, here's the consignment note" when Startrack still haven't even picked up the package! It's sitting there in DSE's warehouse, waiting for startrack to pick it up.

        HTH

        • Thanks for that info, I just rechecked mine and it scanned in Sydney with an eta of tomorrow so they must of picked it up this morning.

  • +1

Yep, same here, it just updated with an ETA of tomorrow too.
