  I tried one of these ones that stick on under the desk, but found it'd always eventually fall.

  Eventually bought one that clamps onto the desk, works much better.

    Used for sticking undershelf light to hooks to corner bumpers, it was come off clean too.

    Do you think this would hold up a knife block on the wall? Never had any luck with mounting tape or those little sticky things before.

      For that I would recommend this Scotch Outdoor Mounting Tape 2.5cm x 4.4m 414-MEDIUM (https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B005SRA7X0/ref=ppx_yo_d…) I installed outdoor camera on bricks and it stuck really well
