"An Eligible Motor Vehicle Insurance Policy is Comprehensive, Third Party Fire & Theft or Third-Party Car Insurance. Eligible Customers will receive a digital $75 Visa Reward Card 60 days after taking out their Eligible Motor Vehicle Insurance Policy, plus existing Bupa Health Insurance Members will also receive 10% off their Eligible Motor Vehicle Insurance Policy at the time of purchase. Eligible Customers must maintain their Eligible Motor Vehicle Insurance Policy for the life of the policy or a minimum 60 days from the day the policy commences (whichever comes first) to receive the digital $75 Visa Reward Card"

In case anyone else was wondering how long you have to keep the policy to get the discount.

Well they won't even quote on me living in Victoria, so there's that.

I don't think living in Victoria or not is a factor

I would want more than $75 gift card given they are 2x the price of AAMI.

Ridiculously priced. I will rather stick to BudgetDirect.

$650 more than Woolworths, yeah nah.

I just did a quote for a 2005 Astra for third party only.

$1800 excess, comes out at $9.87 a month, so cancel after 2 months after I should profit $50.

    Win.

    $2000 more than budget direct

    • Thanks, I wasn't sure which websites to check personally and they look pretty good.

No idea if I can cancel my current insurance without penalty though, I pay monthly but will obviously have to look into it myself.

  • They don't cover imports. No surprises there though! :P

Can't complain with this deal. 3rd party only, $195 for the year. $80 cheaper than AAMI who I was with before and then a $75 reward.

Loving all these comments where people are posting their individual circumstances on price as if means anything to anyone but themselves. If insurers charge you a lot it's because they don't want you, not because they can't do better. They have appetite for certain circumstances at certain times and price based on that. Your quote means nothing for anyone else's quote.

settle down mate, people are allowed to say what prices they got.

  • The most expensive quote i got out of 7 different quotes, and by more than $300 per year. I would hate to see what it goes up by in the following year.

  • $40 more than Bingle, but the gift card makes the switch worth it!

  • Thanks, just switched. With the $75 card, this was cheaper than a selection of other quotes I looked at for my car, viz. NRMA, Budget Direct, AAMI, Woolworths, Allianz and Youi. Even without the card, it was already cheaper than NRMA and Budget Direct.
