I just got my shipment from Sheridan and am returning the quick dry robes.
The Quick Dry robes shed ALOT of material, wore it once to test out the size, and basically had cotton balls all over my clothes afterwards. Read on Product Review, it appears their Quick Dry material has this problem all the time.
I can attest, my quick dry towels still leave bits of material on me after I use them - 2 years on.
Can I recommend trying to shower again?
ISnt this going to happen with most new cotton products ike this - they will shed the first couple of times and then they are usually fine?
After researching on product reviews, people were reporting a life time of shedding. Even after washing it many times. So I avoided that problem by just returning it.
I need some alternatives then, have been looking for affordable towel material robes similar to what you find in hotels for years.

I don't think many people do (at any age) - I think a towel is more practical.

Gee, that's an awfully long time. I would expect it to dry me body within a few minutes of getting out of the shower and putting it on.
There's more use cases for a robe than just exiting a shower.
Wearing the same robe every day at home puts me off. It gets smelly, sweaty, dirty. It surprises me how people prefer it over a clean top and a pair of trackies or comfy shorts. Comfy is crucial when home but keeping it clean and fresh is a must.
Any sheridan towel type you guys would recommend?
