Here for the "Racists!" comments from the unhinged.

    • -1

Here you go mate. Racist company and sh1t tasting “meals”

  • +2

There delivery service was really good that's the best I can say about it cause the food was not that nice maybe it was what I got from them

    • I found their delivery service poor. It rarely came in the window they provided and the tracking was always off by several hours.

  • +2

Food is generally very average. I enjoyed the hellofresh boxes though.

    • +1

      Apples/oranges.

      • +3

        Division error

      • +1

Why can't you compare apples with oranges?

        • if someone's head is only the size of an apple or orange, what can you expect? anyway, he will defend his "bargain" to the dealth of his race.

        • +2

Youfoodz you heat, hellofresh you prepare and cook.

        • +1

Kind of like saying "the plane food was terrible. I enjoy sashimi at a 5 star resturaunt though".

YouFoodz is for people who don't want to cook. Comparing it to a box of ingredients is pointless for most people.

  • That’s a lot of meals to hit the “free delivery” threshold.

They are good to throw in front of the kids for a quick answer to “what’s for dinner??!?”.
With the veggies, you don’t feel like a totally bad parent.

Edit: Only four meals are $6.95, and two are $7.95.

    • +1

That's an expensive dinner when you're buying individual sized portions for the family.
      Say 2 kids and 2 parents - $28.
And I can almost guarantee the parents will be hungry afterwards.

Edit: would have to get 4 of the same meal in order to get $7 + free delivery. Yikes.

      • +2
        • Ah yes. The only two foods available are overpriced McDonald's meals (not even a family box) or small Youfoodz meals.

If you're waiting for delivery anyway, get a 2kg lasagne for like $10 and salad stuff.
If you're going out anyway, drive and pick up a BBQ chicken/lasagne + salad.
If you don't want to leave your car, get a family dinner box - $24.95.

And that's going to like zero effort.

      • I work away, so these are good to feed myself, alone, one per night.

  • +1

Don't think $7 or $8/meal is worth it for what you get + delivery fees..
You'd have to buy 13 meals in order to get free delivery - which by then 13 meals for $89 isn't a deal.

    • I got $20 off after that bringing it down to $70 odd

      • As previously replied, please put this in the title/description..
        $5.50 is different from $7-$8.

        • Done. To be fair, I posted the deal before checking out myself so hadn't used the code.

  • Delivery fee i assume is only temporary.

There really isn't that many in that normal range though hey, owell.

Sidenote: The BBQ chips they sell are really nice

  • +9

Hack: I did 13 meals to get to the $89 mark then used honey and it found MEAL-DEAL code which brought it down to $71.80. Thats $5.52 each. Yea not much choice but I like the chicken ones best anyway.

    • Fix your title you need to spend 89 before discount for free delivery or plus delivery.

    • +2

I'd edit your post to reflect this.
$5.50 is a lot more palatable than $7/$8.
It doesn't make the food any more so but at least
now the price matches the product.

    • +1

Thanks, ordered for this week and forward planned another order for next week.
      At $5.50ea you can't go wrong, that's a bargain - cheers.

    • Creamy Mushroom Cannelloni is amazing. I can't stomach much of their food anymore though.

  • Not many options that are discounted unfortunately :(

Don't forget Cashback too via Shopnback.

    • No. It's probably overstock. Is what it is.

    • I don't think cashback works if using codes.

      • +1

2% Cashback if using a Coupon Code. Either way, worth a try if you're going to order anyways.

        • My bad. Good work.

Putting aside the ethical side of this company, I bought a stack of YouFoodz about 8 months ago and found that portion sizes are tiny compared to a normal meal. They're like entrees made on Masterchef. I had to eat 2 of these to be able to have a decent dinner.

    • It's pretty obvious they are suited to people who are into portion control, as they are all between 300 and 500 calories per serve.

  • -3

Sorry I can't support a company with an openly racist leader like this

What about McDonald's banning black people in an entire city in China? Or Amazon treating their workers like dirt? I hope that same ethics are applied consistently. Because most of the user's sharing a similar sediment seem to use it interchangeably

      • an entire city in China

Not that it makes it any better, but it was one single store in a city that has more than a dozen McDonald's restaurants.

        https://www.nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk/mcdonald-s-apologizes-af…

        • I'm glad to hear its only been formally known as one location however, from locals based there I'm aware of three locations that refused to serve 'international looking people'
Throughout China the African migrants have been unfairly targeted and mistreated. Its a sad state of affairs when the blame gets put on a minority for absolutely no reason.

  • -6

Boycott. Bad meals and worse owners.

  • +4

The serving sizes are trash I can’t see how people support these. Just go to Aldi if you want gross frozen meals, at least they’re cheaper and taste slightly better than YouRacists

    • I can't see how people like mcdonalds when I like hungry jacks. That is not an argument.
I am not 'supporting' them. I'm purchasing a product that suits my lifestyle and budget. I'm not supporting a charity.
