Prism make high quality sport kites that are great fun to fly. If you're not familiar with dual line or sport kites, they're kites that you can control, perform acrobatics and crash significantly harder than single line kites. Heaps of fun to practice on a nice day and family friendly with the right kites.

These foil kites move and turn fast and could pull a couple tube tails if you want to make a real spectacle. Since they're foil instead of a frame, they won't break easily if you smash them into the ground while learning.

Apart from needing some coordination to fly, smaller people should be able to fly these in fair wind without getting dragged along the ground. In solid wind it'll be an adults only activity with heels dug in.

These are very low (lowest for 170) prices on Camelx3.
Normal prices for these are 140 $88/ 170 $121 (inc. $12 shipping)

Back-ordered and shipping from US. So maybe by the time you get them, the weather will be better!

Prism Synapse 140 @ $64.64 134.5 cm
Prism Synapse 170 @ $88.94 169 cm

    You mean aerobatics?

Sometimes I do acrobatics on the beach while flying kites. Not normally on purpose. It usually ends up with my face in the sand.

Prism kites are fantastic. I have about seven of them.

Damn missed out but found another site selling them for the same price. Kites2kites.com.au

  • These things are usually a gateway into bigger and more powerful kites. My first kite was a 2 line 1.4m Prism kite. Enough power to make it fun and easy to fly in all wind conditions.

The 2 line kites are a good starting point to learn how to fly larger kites, but they tend to take 2 people to use. One to fly and one to launch. Once you have a good grasp on how to fly these, it’s easier to move up to a 4 line, and that’s a much more fun kite to fly.

  • Did anyone happen to put one of the 170 on back order that can share a screenshot of it. Doing a price match but of course need to show something

The 1.7m is currently 85 dollars free delivery with prime but on back order

    • Sweet, thanks for the heads up. The price should be updated soon.
