  • Has someone bought these, Can someone please provide some reviews . Are they worth it? this model or something else ?

    • ^I want to know it too, I was looking through the old deal of this brand and tumble upon this deal.

      • +2

I've had the 800A version (which I believe this one is) for a year or so.
It would jump start my 5.7L V8 from dead flat without hesitation.
Used it a handful of times and checked the charge after about 6 months and it had only dropped one light (20%?).

Comes with an aussie plug, cigarette adapter etc all in a carry case. Some people say the leads are too short but you're only jumping the battery and then taking it off. It doesn't have to sit on the ground while you do that. Really good size to throw in the glovebox and get you (or a stranger) out of trouble.

A lot of people hang out for the 2000A model but this has plenty of grunt and is a good size IMO.

    • Have one. These things are a God send.

Is this the "800A" model, but just renamed to 1200A?
The old 800A and this new 1200A are both called "GP37-Plus" making me think they've just changed the name, not the product.

    • Same thing happened with the larger model, was originally 1500A and then just changed to 2000A.

  • Says 1200A in title but 800A in specs?
Looks the same as my 800A one.

  • Anyone know of a product similar to this but can also charge 45w Laptops on USB-C?

    • +1

Gooloo's Kickstarter campaign for the G2000 boasted that it could charge laptops up to 60W. However, their advertising seems to not cover this aspect any more.

My guess is that the 2000A Version would do the job but not at the fastest charging rate (Power Delivery 15W Type C Input and Output). Don't see any reviews that cover laptop charging though.

      • funny the 2000A version doesn't specify the battery mAh capacity like this 1200A 18000mA?

        • Capacity of the 2000A is 19800mAh.

  • +1

This or the similar 2000A Version for an extra $20?

    • That's a deal on its own, usual price is around $150.

  • I had this and it died on me after about 1 year right after warranty. Gooloo out of good will replaced it with the 2000a version and it's been good so far, I would go the 2000a as it's got better functions and has qc3.0, USB C and the case feels more quality and sturdy.

  • I bought the 800A version at the start of the year.

Two weeks later I was out and about and my battery died… this thing saved me a crapload of hassle! Well worth it.

  • i use it to jump the ride on mower, does the job.

  • Thanks OP, jumped on the 2000A one linked for $20 more. Not sure of the difference or whether I need one but don't want to get caught out this winter!

  • Had cause to use my 1500 model today for the first time.

Bought in Feb 2019 and charged when I bought it and never since. Car not been used for 2 months, battery dead. Worked first time. Recommended.
