I wouldnt even go if i was paid $50.

it works out at just over $5 per hour…

      less than minimum wage !!!!!!!!!!!

Not a deal to me. I will consider this if they paid me $250/hr.

  • I never knew you have to pay them to sit there watch the show…….
    $50 for 2 tickets?? Ouch…

    • yeah usually TV shows are free to go and watch… if they are filming them…

      • With good reason too. I went to a (free) filming of CNNN. It wasn't anywhere near as long as this and the show is pretty funny IMO. Watching it made, though, was as exciting as watching dry paint dry a bit more. the repetition, retakes, boring bits that they'll later cut out, etc are all in there. It's not made to be watched like that. It's not theatre!

  • Surely they are making enough money from the product placement alone.

As much as Masterchef puts me to sleep, this just might be a good buy for single males :)

You… uhh… have to pay to be part of the audience? Seriously? WTF?

Hey MasterChef, the RSPCA rang…they want to check out the marks on your dead horse.

    • rofl, the rest of the cubicle is staring at me because I'm choking on laughter.

    • Love it!! Also laughing at work and getting weird looks.

  • Final scoreline : Watching Masterchef 0 - Watching paint dry 1

Actually, me think it's more than just a "Live TV show recording".. But it's officially known as "Masterchef Live". It's more like a food event or exhibition.

I'm pretty this isn't to be part of the audience, it's a Masterchef Expo type thing. Tickets get you into the pavillion where there will be cooking demonstrations, cooking classes etc.

While I agree with many of the comments above, I love how people will comment even when they have sweet FA of an idea about it :)

No this is not tickets to see the stupid show - they film that on a closed set to ensure people don't find out who won it weeks before the bore of an episode goes to air.

This is meant to be an event much like Top Gear Live where elements of the show are bought to a venue so fans can interact directly, feel special, get more sucked in and further line the pockets of the producers :)

Personally I blame the description for not making it worth the bother. :) Bitching about it is a lot more fun than investigating it. :)

does it bother you? you should ask yourself why?
