Good the first time but imo Bad Boys 2 is more rewatchable. Yes I'm a fan of that crazy film full of Michael Bay-isms

    • Yep, Bad boys 2 was better. It was so good in fact that it was referenced in Hot Fuzz, one of my top 5 favourite British comedy/ action movie.

  • Nothing sadder than old men revisiting their past…

    • -2

Yes how sad for veterans to reminisce on the struggles they endured during the war etc, you should defintily go on tv and says this to the country live.

I hope you don’t take photos of anything, as shit what use will you ever have for them.

It's a quote from the movie. I take it that not many people saw it then?

        • -1

put quotes around it, this may help with the recognition of this as a quote.

          • +3

@Donaldhump: So because you took something out of context, it's the other person's fault?

            • +1

@arkie0: yes it is, how else would a person interpret that comment with no quotes or reference to the fact it is a quote and if they had not seen said movie.

if you went through the streets of Compton yelling racist offensive quotes from Boyz in the Hood, is it your fault you would get shot or the shooters fault for taking it out of context.

              • +1

@Donaldhump: It would still be the shooters fault, just because you use a skewed example does not make it correct.

              • @Donaldhump: The shooters fault obviously, you can't shoot someone for saying something you don't like.

          • @Donaldhump: But have you seen the film?

            • +1

@Godric: no hence why i didn't know it was quote. along with 6 other people by the looks

i actually thought bad boys was a doco about the detroit pistons

        • Please don't put quotation marks (in context of humour) or announce sarcasm.

I rather take the negs than to start putting up signboards for every conceivable scenario.

            @[Deactivated]: And you have …

People earning more than $65k per year do not need that much money so it serves them right for their greed.

            System overload…

That comment went woosh over at least 94 heads. You walk the talk and I like that about you.

  • what is the story about and where to watch this please? :)

    • +1

The story is about Will Smith's past and Martin Lawrence's retirement.

The movie looked great on an OLED. Bright, fast, colourful, a feast for the eyes. The story was average.

      • wow! this sounds so interesting! :) Cos I'm a Will Smith fan. Where do you watch this movie?

        • +1

          Netflix would have.

          • @5iveburn: Thank you will try to watch that soon! :)

            • @MaJo: I saw the trailer is like super action movie, something like MEN IN BLACK!? :)

    • Story?

  • I liked all 3.

    9/10

I saw it because it was the least objectionable film on the only day that both my wife and I could go to the cinema to use free tickets that were expiring soon.

I wasn’t expecting much and ended up enjoying it.

Haven't enjoyed a US film for a decade as Hollywood started tasking almost no risks at all and their output turned into lowest common denominator shite.

And by that I mean they started making films for unsophisticated peasants in China and ten year olds.

Is there anything that you approve of?

    • +3

Life must suck hating and always complaining. Is there an underlying issue maybe you should talk to someone about?

    • +2

Pretty sure unsophisticated peasants in China would rather spend their money on food instead of going to the movie. But hey don't let facts get in the way of a good rant.

  • Pretty good easy watching but the first 2 are more memorable.

    • yup the Bad Boys 2 is 10/10 for me

  • I didn't like it too much. The story left a lot to be desired.

Funny enough the last Will Smith movie I watched before was Gemini Man.

The fatter cop seems to rely only on the "Ohhhhh ohhhhhhhhh shieetttttt" for most of his comedy. Still funny though

  • I don't know why you chose this forum to discuss this film, but if you think it's a 9/10 film, that explains a lot. I'm guessing it lost 1 mark because you thought the plot was a little too complicated?

    • +1

      I rate this forum thread 3/10. If it wasn't for the Diji1 subplot, it'd be a 0/10.

  • Didn't enjoy it like I did Bad Boys 2. This was just something to spend some time streaming cuz there was nothing else to do. I felt the jokes fell flat, the villain's backstory was lame and I actually missed Michael Bay's brand of over the top action mayhem

  • Awful, I turned it off when I seen the Porsche driving on the beach.

Plus Martin Lawrence doesn't look so healthy

    • The Porsche was damn nice though!

      • The 911 turbo on the first one was amazing :)

        • yuh right! that was awesome!
