1/2 Price on Wenger Watches and Knives

110

I got an email about a half price sale of Wenger knives and watches.

Wenger make the 'Swiss Army Knife' and 'Swiss Army' watches.

You have to sign up to the "Wenger Club" to gain access to the Factory Outlet tab where the deals are.

I have checked against their normal prices and it seems legit, although their outlet store usually has lower prices anyway, this seems to be a larger saving. YMMV.

Not all of the watches seem to be available in the factory outlet section, but there is a good range.

I'd like to get one, but having made a large purchase recently, I can't. So I can't tell you how the ordering process is. Just thought I'd pass it along if anyone was looking to buy.

  • Great quality watches. Well worth the price.

  • Oh, not every knife is discounted. Still worthy of a bargain.

  • Is it still 3 am?

      • EXCELLENT WORK KLF23 :)

  • arsene wenger

  • Quick check shows more expensive than Amazon, didn't bother looking into shipping.

    • But does Amazon ship these items to Oz?

      • Most things do, in my experience anyway.
If .com won't send it to you, sometimes .co.uk will and vise versa.
It just depends on what you're trying to buy really.

  • Ho hum.

  • For those who have a Costco membership, I saw that they had a Mens Wenger Chronograph watch there for about $120, which I thought was pretty cheap considering DJs sell the non-chronograph ones for about $300

**Wenger make the 'Swiss Army Knife' **
They make ONE version of it, the official Swiss Army Knife is made by Victorinox.
I don't have anything against Wenger, due to the lack of victorinox and wenger branches here in Australia.. we get ripped off like crazy D:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swiss_Army_knife#Victorinox_and…
Wenger advertises as the Genuine Swiss Army Knife and Victorinox uses the slogan the Original Swiss Army Knife.

    • Wenger and Victorinox both supply the Swiss Army with the same pocket knife and have done for over 100 years. I believe that Wenger are available in all the King of Knife stores and i have seen them in Aussie Disposal stores and Paddy Pallin. You can get the watches in David Jones as well. I bought one of the watches on the sale they have on this week. I bought it on Saturday and it arrived today! Brand new with a 3 year international warranty. Why would you want to buy from overseas when you don't know where it comes from?

      • Since when did I mention anything about buying overseas?
Fact - I bought some from an American eBay store by the name of DellasKnives.
MUCH cheaper there. You get quite a nice Victorinox knive delivered for the same price of the base model you can obtain from knife shops here.
        From the same wikipedia link
The Swiss company Victorinox AG and up to 2008 its wholly owned subsidiary Wenger SA supply about 50,000 knives to the Swiss army each year, and manufacture many more for export, mostly to the United States.
Pretty sure buying from the US is much safer than buying from.. let's say China, for SWISS Army knives anyway.

  • Why would you want to buy from overseas when you don't know where it comes from?

presumably they all come from Switzerland…….
