Yeah but its a $200 soundbar and Sub - at that price the reviews make sense. The reviews are against all soundbars not just soundbars in this price range.

      • Very true TT, I guess only point is at this price or cheaper there are others that rate as well or better. Namely the OB favourite Yamaha. I’m just posting it to hopefully help someone.

I do like the size of this one however.

Looking for a sub $300 compact soundbar to improve voice clarity on news broadcasts/sport commentary. Not fussed about surround or effects boosts for movies, just clarity for my parents with aging ears. Hard to find any significant detail in reviews about this fact as they all seem to concentrate on the quality of the surround sound!

Cross shopping this one with the Canton DM5

    • I’m in the ‘same boat’

    • Can highly recommend the Edifier R1280DB speaker pair if you are after clarity; I got these after returning a overly chunky (size), muddy (sound) and bassy soundbar.

The speakers have more than enough power even for large open plan living spaces.

      Price target around $90-$105.

    • I believe it's the same company, just under a different name :)

  • Any good? Been considering getting this for parents Bedroom TV setup to improve the sound. As it doesn't take up much room and not to expensive.

    • I haven't purchased myself but all reviews seemed mixed but it depends on what/where you are using it… HN have a few ppls reviews on it

  • Anyone who recently bought this, howz the sound quality? Was this worth spending $200?
