  • Quick question - I deposited 2k but never got an email regarding unlocking everyday extras. How can you tell in the app - went to the tracker but it's in grey and says $2000. Does this mean it's registered 2k already or should it be a different colour?

  • I just got my $150 today (same day as the third month $2K deposit) - I signed up via the Bupa link (I am a Bupa member - not that I had to enter my Bupa number anywhere tho) - My welcome email did mention $100 bonus but I got $150 today

    • did you get $150 straightaway or 1 business day after deposit?

      • It doesn't have the exact time but both the $2K deposit and the $150 (MFI Bonus) are dated the same day (15 Jul 2020) in the transaction list

        • thanks I can confirm I got $150 next business day! I am a bupa member

  • I only got $100 despite signing up via Bupa link.

    My wife however got $150.

Seems like a lottery whether you get the correct amount or not. Customer service advisor I spoke to was clearly lacking intelligence as he kept saying T&Cs state it could take upto 6 months to receive the $150. I already got the bonus. The issue is with receiving the incorrect amount! It's now being investigated by the "higher department".

    • I wonder if they check back with Bupa regarding your membership - is your Bupa policy in your wife's name? (nope that probably doesn't work - I logged in and looked at our Bupa policy and my wife is listed first)

    • The higher department just blamed me for signing up with the incorrect link and refused to honour the $150 offer. Bupa member here and signed up via the link in my account on the Bupa website!

      • I bet they will do the same to me.

      • i'd fight them and get $300 out of it

        • +1

After two weeks of "investigating", the stupid customer advisor who was handling my case came back with the typical response saying that I didn't sign up using the correct link. Escalated it with the Head of Customer Advocacy and got a response the following day confirming that I should have received the additional $50. They will credit the amount to my account. Good result in the end but shouldn't have to go through this much trouble to receive what was promised when signing up.

    • Did you and your wife sign up on the same day? Or a few days apart?

  • For anyone still subscribed, confirming that I received my $150 bonus today. It's about a week since I deposited the the $2000 for this last month, so not instant. I signed up using the BUPA link and saved my registration form (including link address) as a PDF just in case but luckily didn't need to use it.

  • Woohoo got the $150. Deposit the last $2000 yesterday and received the bonus today

  • Got $100, signing up through Op’s link. Live chat CS said I need to signup via Bupa’s email. Just an excuse I guess. Raising ticket now

  • Just came across this after my mate signing up, you reckon the cash rewards will stay for while? I am mostly after the cash back rewards not the $100 they are giving you. Is it worth the hassle going through all the signing up process? Reading comments suggest a lot of people were having bad customer experiences. cheers guys

  • I am in October 2020 currently, looks like the offer has been extended until Dec 31st 2020 from the link in the offer. I'm going to sign up this week as I'm a BUPA member and keen for signup bonus and cashback.

  • Was about to sign up but those app reviews are terrible!
