The 100ml is $50 and may work out to be more cost effective.

    • Thanks, updated.

  • Is there cashback on Amazon for fragrance yet?

  • +1

This one is my go to. Good smells.

  • I don’t know much about EDT vs EDP.

Will this last all day without making me smell like I sell used cars?

    • +3

EDC will last approx 2 hours, EDT 2-3 hours, EDP 4-5 hours and Parfum 6-8 hours.

      • Oh wow. Thanks for the heads up!

      • +3

just apply it twice as much and you can double all these times

      • +2

There is absolutely no correlation between these times and how long a frag will last.

    • +5

Its just the concentration of oil in the fragrance. It doesn't mean that EDP is better then EDT or that Parfum > EDT.

The post on here regarding how long the cologne lasts based on the concentration is absolutely wrong.. Sounds like he has no knowledge of frags.

Do your research on the individual cologne you like to check what people are saying on the longevity.

      • +2

        i second this comment.
Not because is EDT is going to last only 2-3 hours, there are many factors that influence the longevity.

    • EDP is the best, I used EDT when I was a young lad. EDP has more of the expensive stuff, the rest is more alcohol content.

    • +1

Some EDTs last longer than EDPs. You can't really generalise EDT vs EDP in longevity.
Research helps (Fragrantica.com) when it comes to longevity but note that another huge factor that plays into longevity is the scent's reaction to your skin. I've found that some frags that are known to have weak longevity (on most people) actually last long on mine.

For this one though, Hugo Boss Bottled EDT is known to not last long but it's such a safe masculine frag that is very much affordable hence I wouldn't mind re-applying in the middle of the day if I want the scent to linger more.

If you're in love with the smell of Boss Bottled and wish it lasted longer try Layton by Parfums de Marly. Be prepared to fork out 6-8x the cost though.

  • +3

Fragrance doesn't last long. Don’t recommend.

    • Agree doesn't seem to compared to Hugo
Good smell though already got a 50mL

  • Anyone know how this compares to CDMIN (similar to Creed Aventus)?

    https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/98599/armaf-club-de-…

    • +1

Totally different types of cologne. I have Aventus. It has a very slight fruity (pineapple) top note as well as woody and leather notes. Boss Bottled to me is just sweet sweet sweet. I like sweet colognes but this one makes me feel like a walking candy (but that could be the objective of some men).

      • Aventus gang, master race

    • +1

      Hugo Boss

      CDMIN

It's not even remotely the same type of frag.

    • +1

Hey bro. Just get the Abercrombie and Fitch - Authentic for him. This is much closer to Aventus clone. It's $50 for 100ml from chemist warehouse. I have both this and cdmin and 3 original creeds Aventus. The cdmin will smell stronger and last longer, but it's sh1t compared to the smell of the Abercrombie one and the original creed. Wore the Authentic by Abercrombie today at work, the girl loved it. It is only 2 to 3 hrs longevity though. The cdmin is about double that.

    • +2

It's like comparing Dee Why against Lakemba

    • CDMIN and Boss Bottled are good 'entry-level' frags.

Boss Bottled is a safer choice (but it doesn't last as long as CDMIN).

  • The number of reviews on amazon claiming fake are scary.

This has been my experience over the past 10 years of buying from cheaper sources. I kept thinking maybe it was the batch etc but then when I opened up a duty free airport from Uk purchase that I had made 20 years ago and it still lasted far longer than the ones I have been buying since… it makes me wonder if a lot of the reputable stores sell fakes or watered down ones. I wonder if there are batches that are watered down and sold in cheaper stores and the original ones are sold in pricier outlets?

Due to current bullsh1ts around the modern day, the EU constantly keep imposing more and more chemical restrictions used in perfumes. This is because of soft core people having reactions. So in turn companies need to reformulate the current fragrances in order to not be in breach of the EU regulations so they can keep selling the products. Unfortunately we see crappy longevity and change of smell. The end.

        • ahh, that makes sense now, so the quality has basically been waning due to reformulating and probably cost cutting.

  • Awesome deal got the 100ml from Amazon

    The only Hugo Boss worth paying attention to;

This is not the best price, I have picked up the 100ml for $36 from CW. However, the price dictates the quality, don't expect it to last long.

  • Great smell, 2nd bottle for me but to be honest it lasts til about lunchtime.

  • Good price for a good bit of smelly stuff.

  • +1

Bought the 100ml earlier this week as they had their 10% off so came down to $40.49

  • Oh the toilet water!

  • +2

I stopped buying cologne. It doesn't do much if you're ugly -_-

  • +1

    Do girls like it?

    • Hahaha same thing I was gonna ask!!!

    • My girlfriend bought it for me and we both really like it. We were after something kind of similar to Encounter by Calvin Klein

    • I've found that women around 25-35 love it. :)
If I were to describe it - it gives you a professional vibe with a bit of "I'm also playful" on the side.

  • check MFD date on any CW perfumes before purchase.

  • Will girls start flocking when I put this on? (srs question)

    • Yes. No. Maybe.

  • FYI the reason why Chemist Warehouse is consistently cheaper is because the perfumes are closer to expiry.
Not to say some other more expensive vendors are doing the same

  • Just picked my 100ml up from CW, is about a year old. Happy with that for the price.

I think the best CW men's fragrance deals for the current season are the following:

    <$50
    1. Dunhill Icon EDP 100ml - https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/84724/dunhill-icon-e…
Such a clean and safe smell. Easily usable for casual or professional purposes. Goes well with the current season (fall/winter).
    2. Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo For Men EDT 50ml - https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/90094/salvatore-ferr…
I'm aware that it's only 50ml but this is the cheapest you'll find in the net right now. Trust me when I say that women under 35 love this. It's a very 'edible' smell as it will resemble tiramisu/coffee and sometimes even chocolate. Go easy on this - it would smell too sweet if you spray too much.

    <$100
    1. Christian Dior Homme EDT 100ml - https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/93066/christian-dior…
WARNING: Don't blind buy this (purchase w/o trying in-store). This is not a smell for everyone but if you're daring enough to try something that smells manly but powdery then this is it. Girls love this scent. This is perfect for the current season.

Hugo Boss is a crap company that sues people with the word "boss" anywhere. They also made the Nazi uniforms.
