I am looking to purchase a new laptop with an approximate budget of $1k (could go higher depending on the laptop).
My primary use would be using FL Studio for recording / producing music. I know the general specs required, but am looking for a bit more technical advice to make the best decision.
Other information to help with a recommendation:
Weight and looks don't bother me.
I also would use it for watching movies, shows, YouTube etc. So, ideally a good sized and quality screen.
Quality of the trackpad isn't a priority as I'd be using a mouse predominantly.
I have a $300 JB Voucher so extra value if I can get it from JB.
