Just purchased the IPad 7th gen 10.2in wifi from officeworks for $474.05. Studio proper have them for $499 with free delivery which is the cheapest I have found so I went into the Epping store and showed them the link. It’s an Australian company so they honoured the 5% price beat. They had none in stock so they ordered it and said it will come in 1 business day. If your after a different IPad just go to their website and I’m sure they will price beat.
I saw Studioproper when in the market for an iPad recently. Odd site (maybe bc I've never heard of them), are they legit?
It must be as the customer service at Officeworks checked it out and honoured the price beat. Good price if you ask me.

It's really good for the price, but if you are able to add a couple hundred dollars more. I'd recommend iPad Air.

If you search the deals on OzBargain you can get an iPad Air (2019) for a really good price through Optus, so it's only about 300ish more for the latest iPad air including cellular

But what is so good about the iPad air? I've never bought an apple device, or spent more that $300 on a tablet. What am I missing out on?
And "only $300ish more" is quite a bit when than the $474 of the iPad.
@TonyRancid: It has a A12 processor which is around 2x faster then the normal iPad 7th gen A10 (CPU released in 2016) and is future proof longer. Also the screen is a generation newer with double the storage space.

In all honesty, If you can handle a iPad Mini 5 then go for that since it's pretty much a iPad Air in a smaller body as it shares everything from the Air but at only around $100 more then a iPad 7th gen. The Mini 5 is the BEST bang for buck iPad you can get now for performance,longtivity and price.

@TonyRancid: 64GB imho is the absolute minimal you need for a ipad now due to all these high end apps now reaching the platform like video editors,hi rez games and painting apps.
A normal ipad gen 7 is only good as a media consumption device and I would recommend something higher if you actually plan on using it to produce work.

I have experienced extended shipping (3 weeks plus, still not shipped) timeframes with Studio Proper
Was unsuccessful with a price match with office works due to the studiopro website not having a partnumber for the ipad which inhibits them to identify that it is the same product they are matching facepalm

Not sure if you bought elsewhere already but I got the price beat from Officeworks over the phone today. They had no issue in matching, no questions. I just mentioned that it was a local website who are resellers and that price included postage.

The models are called 7th Gen, Pro, Air and Mini.
I got one each of the 7th Gen model. My OW rep's only concern was whether SP was an authorised Apple reseller or not.
A price beat is not a deal. You should be advertising the 499 price
