    The Specifications page for the 15” Asus A53E-SX230V says it has 6GB Ram, but the summary says it has 4GB Ram.

      I don't think it does have discrete graphics (the battery should get used up quite fast then)

      no. however Intel 2nd Generation Core processor have descent graphics performance comparable to nVidia/ATI dedicated graphics that comes on most first gen laptop. But of course if you want for gaming, you will need to spend a bit more to get descent dedicated graphics laptop.

    I like how the $1098 Acer has: "3 Year ASUS Warranty", Also the specs page says 2 years.

    If it was $949 straight up I would buy it, but Acer can get f****d with their cash back schemes!
