No external expansion slot for high end device is quite sad ☹

    • +1

do you really need it when it has 128gb?

      • +2

        128gb isn't enough these days

      • Do you really need phones with 256gb options when 128gb options exist? Some people would use the extra storage

      • If the main flash on the phone dies, all the data inside go with it.

If a microSD goes, it normally set itself to read only. We can still get the data off it.

I am not a selfie person, but taking photos when I taking things apart, cutting things up. I have 35GB left after a year on my 128GB Mi9.

$2999rmb from mi china for k30pro

    • +4

K30 pro doesn't have Band 28 support, POCO F2 Pro does

  • +2

Great specs, flagship worthy… Just wish the higher end phones would stop ditching the micro sd though

  • $700 grey import from China. Wait Shipment for 2 month. No local warranty.
    Deal or not?

    • There isn't much choices for flagship phones these days for local stock. Samsung and iphone?

Toby is generally pretty fast with shipping.

All orders will ship within 24 to 72 working hours. (Saturday and Sunday excluded).

After your item is shipped, please allow us another 3 – 8 working days for delivery to metro areas.

Go read some reviews on them, they're fast with shipping except when they're really, really not.

edit: Plus what do you mean lack of choices? Even flagship Xiaomi's are available here, plus LG, Sony, Huawei, Oppo, etc, etc.

        • Yep, slow when they have no stock to be delivered. More of a stock management issue not shipping speeds.
Last year it took only 3 business days from ordering to receive my item. Probably will be a bit slower now due to covid 19.

Give link of current Sony, LG, Oppo flagships released this year from an Aust retailer. Thanks

Huawei doesn't even have GMS, can be ignored. Xiaomi doesn't really have a local warranty center in Aust. Buying local or grey import doesn't make a big difference.

          • @linkii: When I say "fast with shipping" I mean them getting it out the door, not boat speed. They have stock issues, customer service issues, basically whatever they control seems to have an issue.

And Apple hasn't released a flagship phone in 2020 either, so apparently the only flagship is Samsung. The Xperia 1, G8X, Pixel 4, V50 ThinQ are all less than 12 months old. Although I didn't realise how lagged Oppo and LG were with getting phones to Australia. I feel I've read so much about the Find X2 it had to be here, apparently not. But considering some of the issues people have had with Toby it might be quicker to wait

    • Where you find $700

  • Tempting but the last time I placed an order it just got cancelled and refunded

    • Oh bugger it, I've bit the bullet. Here's to hoping it gets delivered. Been looking for a SD865 phone, wide angle lens + headphone jack phone that is well under $1000.

      • Any update on your order?

        • Still waiting and ain't got a clue what the latest update means. Shipped via DPEX worldwide
          26/05/2020
          In Transit to Destination
          HONG KONG

    • They won't reply. No matter email or here.

  • I ordered a Realme x2 pro a few weeks back from Tobydeals, it took about two weeks to get the phone from the time I ordered it, I was happy with that. I think you need to make sure they actually have stock before you order. It seems most of the issues people have is they order something that says 'in stock' on their website, but they don't actually have anything, so they're stuck waiting ages for more stock to arrive.

    • +2

Or maybe they could just mark it as Out of Stock. Save everyone the hassle.

    • Is the realme x2 pro international version? It didn't say on the site and they won't respond emails.

    • Was your order delivered via DPEX?
I was worried I wouldn't get in because another site said they were not shipping to Australia because the borders are closed?

  • The new flagship killer I guess

    • New flagship killer price too.

  • It would be a perfect phone if it has two speakers

    • +1

      Needs 90hz screen too

  • +1

keen to see how much the 256gb model costs when it comes out of the woodwork. sick of the crummy exynos in my S20+.

  • -2

    not dual sim.

    • Are there even any 5G phones that have dual SIM?

  • +1

Yes it does. Dual SIM card | Dual Nano-SIM slot as per their website specs: https://www.poco.net/global/poco-f2-pro/specs/

    • hmm interesting!

  • If anyone buys this, let me know if you find a good case. I purchased one a week back and still looking for a case.

K30 pro case, im guessing the same thing.

    • Did you buy the phone from toby deals? if so how long did postage take?

      • I purchased from gearbest. My orders stuck at "Shipping information received" when I check tracking.

        • any update on your order?

          • @Bowchkawowow: Nothing at all, are you waiting too?

            • @PR0r: No, ive bought it via tobys deals in transit for the 23/05 hoping for the best.

  • +2

It has an IR blaster! Next phone easily

  • Any idea when the 8gb version will be out? I can't find stock anywhere

  • For anyone who bought this from Toby Deals, have you received your order at all?

    • I bought it from them got a tracking number its left Hong Kong apparently they say it should only take 6-8 days. Hoping I actually get it in that time frame.

      • I've purchased from tobysdeals, in my experience it was faster than the estimate

        • That's good to hear

        • yeah, good to know the positive experience. I am on the fence hence the question

          • @yaditya: Tthis covid situation may cause problems though. Do keep that in mind.

            • +1

@PR0r: Yeah agreed. thanks for that
