Place the oven rack/tray in the Closure Bag. Pour the Oven Power solution into the bag, then seal.
Move the bag around gently to ensure the entire rack is evenly covered
- Soak for four hours or leave overnight
- Peel back the bag, Squirt a few drops of detergent onto the rack and rinse with hot water
- For inside the oven, simply smear the product and leave for four hours or overnight, then wipe out.
Bi-carb and vinegar works a treat also.
Separately yes.. But not mixed together. Bi-carb is a base and vinegar is an an acid.. They just cancel each other out leaving you with a close to neutral solution.

Yes last week I put in 2 racks and a tray and worked great.
Use a dishwasher tablet, dissolve it in water. Even better than bi-carb and vinger
I don't find this strong enough to clean the oven glass or interior; Easy-off worked much better.
Easy off is what I use in the oven and on my Weber from time to time. Works great - You know it's good when it burns your nostrils when you're spraying it.
I'll stick to bicarb and vinegar. It doesn't have the added bonus of burning your nostrils, but I'd rather not put strong smelling chemicals where I'll be preparing my food.
I would hope you’d put your food in a tray/dish before placing it in the oven! If so, it won’t come into contact with any of those chemicals you’re so worried about. And just because your oven has been cleaned doesn’t mean your food will smell like chemicals…
What do you think happens when you put the chemicals in a fan forced oven? Strictly speaking, if you can smell it you're breathing trace amounts of it in. You absolutely wind up with trace amounts of whatever you're using in your food. I'd just rather not.
+1 for easy off, really effective and just 5 mins for it to action when the oven is slightly warm!
Same experience for me - absolutely brilliant on the racks (& worth it just for that), but only so-so for the interior & glass.
The racks are the hardest to get clean.

I used this the other week and decided to put my oven rack in the bag and a baking tray. It stripped the baking tray leaving it rusted.
It got 95% of dirt off the racks.

Sold my house a few months back. used this kit. Was impressed with the results for the effort required.
Last time I used this product it worked great on the racks inside the bag but it just wasn't strong enough inside the oven - even after leaving it for several hours.. I had to spray it again with Easy Off which worked much better.
