Can anyone (who used these blankets) comment on the quality of these ones. Am actually looking for a wool blanket but the ones I was looking at, are very expensive (around $400-$500). Thanks

I have one. It won't come close to keeping you warm over winter.

      • I still remember before doonas were common, and as a kid in Sydney, two wool blankets were still a bit chilly in winter.
Nice to pop over yourself on the couch.
        This is a reputable brand.

I use this wool blanket as a layer between the bed sheets and the doona during winter.

    • Are you looking for a blanket or a doona? For bed or for the couch?

we are using a duck down now but looking for a wool blanket when the doona is too warm for the weather

Those RRPs seem a bit bogus.
$199 RRP (down to $79) for Single/Double size
    $100 RRP (down to $89) for Queen/King

Hmmmmmm bigger size being half the RRP?

We have a quilt for winter and one for summer.
These things tends to fall down during the night and not effective.

  • Just wondering what 'tough wool material' refers to [is made from, mixed with?] when real wool blankets used to be described as 100% pure new wool?
