Battery has to be 54V. It won't accept less than 54V.
@Dark Zeus: Yeah I wish I'd paid more attention before I went hunting this.
I had a 18V DeWalt battery but it's not compatible with the FlexVolt stuff (54V).
Basically the minimum buy in to the 54V ecosystem is $400 with the blower skin…

Thanks for the post. Just picked this up from the Scoresby (Vic) store. Plugged my battery in and I’m impressed. Thanks to another recent post, I also purchased the line trimmer recently. Just waiting for the hedge trimmer deal to come back now and I’ll be a happy man.

Which brand of line trimmer (by model number) and how much?
northmead nsw has 15+ in two locations in store. Also $99. Was $149. Last year it was $199+.

I'm in the same boat. I've got the 18v blower which does a good job. But $99….. so cheap for this brand and 54v power.
Yep. My blower is louder than this as well. 90+db vs 67. Quite a difference.
Castle Hill has about 10 in stock. Also on clearance for $99.
Marsden Park has heaps of stock of this item. Picked one today based on the feedback from others.
Might be Australia wide, just seen them on clearance at Mornington Vic and can't find them on their website anymore.
